Orchard Street Hotel

We arrived May 6 2023 departed May 11 2023.Front desk staff w as amazing!!! I apologize for the delay on this review . The staff that work in the. Coffee Cafe also were very helpful. This is the best location to stay . subways and also can walk to soooo many places in New York

Small room but was fine for me as a solo traveler. Easy and quick checkin. Absolutely love the area. It’s so close to convenience store, late night deli, and my favorite bars. I chose it because of the location and it made my trip so much easier. Nice views from the room, so much sunlight in the morning when I open the shades. Hotel could use some updating, but if you aren’t looking to hang out in the room all day this is a good place to stay.

The room is simplistic but clean. Everything functioned well and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent accommodations at a great value for Lower Manhattan. Room was small with little space around the bed but that was to be expected. Staff was superb!

Avoid this hotel. I was charged an extra 15 dollars for wifi (which was not good) and water (there was rarely hot water in the shower). The staff were inefficient and focused more on paper work or the computer than guests. When I went to check in, I was left waiting for 10 minutes before they decided to turn their attention to me. The location is the only good thing about the hotel, but for the price it still isn’t worth it.

I stayed for 3 nights in May 2023 and had a great experience. The room was pretty bare bones (no hairdryer was provided, for example, though I never asked so the front desk might have them) and extremely small/right. That was perfectly fine for us since we mostly were only in the room to sleep and shower, but if you usually like to spend time in your hotel room, this probably isn't the best fit. That said, the staff was super friendly and helpful, there's a cafe on the main floor, and the rooftop has a great view. The hotel room was also super clean and the housekeeping did a great job daily keeping it nice and tidy for us. The location is also perfect for night life and very close to a subway stop. Even though the streets surrounding the hotel are packed with nightlife, we found the 4th floor to be super quiet. This perfectly suited our needs to explore the city and then come back to the hotel to pretty much crash and get a good night's sleep.

Staff was super friendly pretty solid spot honestly. Location couldn’t be any better get to any spot you wanna see pretty quick parking garage right around the corner. Very lively at night but not to much in your face

Every time I return to NYC I stay in this wonderful hotel. The staff really make it home. They have a relatively new cafe and I just had a coffee made by Samanta and it was delicious. She is a great barista!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Regardless of what time I left hotel, my room was always cleaned everyday when I returned. Only issue was that I had a travel card and when I arrived the hotel would not accept this as my name was not on it. Could have been a big issue if I didn’t have someone I know living in USA to help.

Sensational views with friendly service. Location had easy access to many attractions. Easy walk to Williamsburg and water taxi. Not far to Manhattan Bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Looking forward to returning here.
