I had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The queen room on the 9th floor was perfect for just me - it was small but well designed and had everything I needed. It was also very clean. The bed was softer than mine at home, but it was so comfy. There were also a variety of pillows so I was able to get just the right one to sleep on and a blackout screen on the window to keep out light, so I slept like a baby both nights.
On my first night, I took advantage of the check-in coupon and ate at the restaurant. The bartender was super, happy hour had great pricing, and the dinner was exceptional (whole Snapper). The location is okay because it is only a block to a subway station, but there doesn't seem to be much of interest close by (hip hop museum is closed as they are on tour) and it is a bit far to Manhattan for reasonable prices on Uber. All-in-all though, it was a good experience and I had a fabulous quick trip to NYC.

It only takes 2 minutes to walk out of the subway station. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. The outside environment is quite safe.

It looks amazing & tha room was actually pretty nice. Smaller then I expected by nice none tha less. The staff was incredibly polite and made checking in easy and enjoyable. Would highly recommend ๐

It is like a hidden get away in the Bronx. It was very nice, clean and the restaurant was lively and fun.

Ver clean being new. Elevator system is a little wonky when using the garage as you have to take 2 Elevators; one from the room, to the lobby and then another to the garage. Being a repurposed building has physical restrictions. Windams are usually small and this is small for 2 people. The shower door latch pulled out of the wall but was fixed with caulk as the holes were into drywall and not a stud.
The thermostat didnt work properly and was blamed on the Conn Ed twinkle out, so the 1st night was cold. The desk person was able to get it to change, so she set it to 80, which was too high. We couldn't get the thermostat to adjust so the 2nd night was miserable in a small room. Garage parking was painless and reasonable at 35 a night. If not for the thermostat and having to pirouette around each other, the room suited the need for 2 nights

Very nice staff, very close to subway station, we will stay here again on next visit. Shower is frosted glass and can be seen from the entire room.

They tell you = that you have to park in garage for $35/ daily and state theirs no street parking (I asked parking car guy and front desk) There is actually good street parking - the buildings on both sides of this hotel is empty buildings - NOISE- they play this horrible very very VERY loud music in the lobby area - the staff was nice but if I could have cancelled without having to pay $278- I sure would have went somewhere else
