My flight was canceled due to a local snowstorm, so I requested to cancel one of my two nights, but it was refused. I even sent the cancellation documents to Trip.com and requested it a total of four times, but it was still denied.
It felt like a goshiwon (a type of tiny, affordable room for rent in Korea), but unlike other hostels, it was a single room, which was nice because I didn't have to worry about other people when storing my luggage or turning on the lights.
It's incredibly small... about the size of a double bed? Maybe even smaller...
The walls are thin partitions and the ceiling is open, so you can hear noise, but on the days I stayed, there were only quiet people, so there wasn't much loud noise.
The shower rooms and toilets seemed to be cleaned regularly.
I was assigned to the 4th floor, and the biggest downside was the lack of an elevator... ㅠㅠ
Check-in and check-out are done via a kiosk, but there seemed to be at least one staff member always present.
Honestly, if you don't need anything else and just want a place to sleep, I recommend it.
Excellent location near NYU where my daughter was graduating. The front desk staff was very courteous, professional and accomodating of special requests.
The room was typical New York size for the price point but comfortable and clean. The amenities look good but we didn't utilize any of them so I can't comment.
The room had bathrobes and slippers which were nice but more importantly, an umbrella which was very useful as it was raining and I neglected to pack one.
Check out was a breeze so what more can anyone ask? Highly recommend.
The manager was nice, but not around a lot. The maids were nice. There were no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen. The Garden room was roomy and the kitchen was ample, but the patio was trashed out and unusable. The patio needs a good cleaning out. The dining room table was about to fall down and the closet door was broken.
Great location and value, but scruffy around the edges. Building is very secure.

Overall a very solid hotel with very welcoming and helpful front desk staff. The rooms are decently sized for NYC and well-appointed with the essentials.
I was impressed when on at least one evening there was even turndown service.
The shower took a minute or so to have a proper water flow, though the pressure was never all that great.
I appreciate having the Nespresso machine and pods in the room.
I’m always glad to stay at this property especially because I very much like the location, not in the heart of a touristic area but still with many fantastic places to eat, excellent subway connectivity, and convenient shopping for the basics.
The property was an historic building with a remarkable ballroom and bar area still with incredible furnishings from its glory days. Things were a bit dingy and worn but for the most part it was acceptably clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevator would not operate if too many people were in it. Use the stares. The comp bikes apparently had been left out during pandemic closure and were no longer available. It was reminiscent of a stay in a Havana hotel.
The location is very busy so the room is very small. I don't recommend staying for a long time. It's a bit depressing, even though we chose a room with a view and a high floor. The business is so good that we can't check in early and there's no time to clean the room every day. Because it's right opposite the Mannes Conservatory of Music, it's very convenient for music students taking exams. The lobby is very beautiful. I waited there until I went to the airport at night. The front desk staff was very friendly.
The breakfast was good but very small. The painting on the wall of the room was original and the quality was great. Everyday the lobby bar was full of people, mostly young people. According to the local residents, the clothing week was full of talented men and women. It was the four days before the municipal government dug for 3 days. The road stopped for three days of water. Sometimes it was too tight to go out and go out before 8:30.
Tolerance, hotel recommended by the company 🏨. Because we are a design department, we are more creative. It is really great that the headquarters recommended this design hotel! ! !
Environment: If you are a fashionista and a trendy person, this hotel is perfect for you!
Most of the people staying here are young people. The whole hotel is very fashionable, with bright details and many small surprises. What impressed me the most was the infinite loop video in the elevator. It was really amazing. The top floor is a swimming pool and disco bar, where you can go and have fun at night when it’s very high! The soundproofing of the hotel is very good, don't worry
Hygiene: The aisles are very bright and the lighting fixtures are well chosen. There was a slight musty smell in the room when we first entered it, which is acceptable in most hotels.
Facilities: I have king size, but the room is not very big. But I love the interior design! There is an ottoman, long sofa and oval table, which is enough for two people to work and put on makeup. Special mention for his bed🛏! ! ! This is the one I will never forget the most since I have slept in so many hotels! ! Seems like I know what brand of mattress! It’s so comfortable! !
BTW the bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, the brands are good. No toothbrush or toothpaste is provided, please bring your own. Foreigners are more concerned about environmental protection.
Service: Breakfast is generally not provided, but room service is available. There are also two restaurants at the door where you can eat from morning to night. The food is good. Moreover, the neighborhood is the very fashionable Chelsea mkt, which is just two steps away and has everything you need for delicious food!
Fantastic location for a night out in the city. Close to beautiful parks along the Hudson, just a block from Chelsea market, and an easy stroll to the West Village scene.
