Hotels in LaGuardia Airport Area, New York

All staff were welcoming and professional throughout the 1 week stay. Room was reasonable size and had a small work station which doubled as a meals station. Great long view over the First Calvary Cemetery (the largest Cemetery in the US, with over 3 million interred) across to the city.

The room was on the smaller side, but it came with all the essentials. While it lacked kitchen amenities like a microwave and fridge, everything else was provided. From the ground floor lobby, stairs lead down to a spacious basement restaurant and bar, which is perfectly acceptable for this price point. The location is also excellent, with the 21st subway station just a 5-6 minute walk away, and Times Square accessible in about 20 minutes, making it incredibly convenient. The only drawback was the surrounding residential neighborhood; it appeared somewhat run-down, and we didn't feel entirely safe walking around at night.

We have only 20hrs layover in NYC, hotel staff gave good advice so we can enjoy the maximum of NYC with our 6 y/o boy during our 20hrs. Clean hotel and good shuttle service.

I needed a hotel for one night as school was starting soon. The location was quite good. The cleanliness and overall environment were just average. However, it was very convenient, and the room, while not particularly spacious, was perfectly adequate for my needs.

New hotels. 2 hotels in same complex. Bit confusing. Not the best location. Right next to housing projects and few constructions plus factories. Bit of walk if you want to get to MTA. Not recommended for night time.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn! I usually choose this hotel chain for its service quality, but this stay was incredibly disappointing. I booked a Standard King Size room for two nights. When I checked-in at night, I received my key card and went to my room, only to find that it was a basement room with just a tiny window, not the large window room I had booked. I immediately went back to the Front Desk to request the correct room, but the staff told me that it was already full and only this room was available. I asked why they didn’t hold the room I had booked since I should be getting what I paid for. Their response? ”Because you arrived at night.” This excuse made no sense at all! Then, another staff member (curly hair) walked over, mumbled complaints, showed an upset attitude, and finally said she would move me to a new room—but only for one night. The next day, I had to move back to the standard room. The way she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. A staff member should never complain or show frustration in front of guests! The next morning, my husband and I brought our luggage down and returned our key card as instructed. However, a different staff member told me that I could actually stay in the same room. So, I placed my luggage back in the room again and went out for the day. Before leaving, I specifically informed housekeeping to clean the room. When I returned that night, I couldn’t access my room. After going back to the Front Desk, the staff told me that the room I originally booked was full, meaning I had to stay in the same room again. Worst of all, when I finally got back inside, the room had not been cleaned at all, even though I had requested it in advance! Overall, this was the worst Holiday Inn experience I’ve ever had. The management was disorganized. This stay completely changed my perception of the Holiday Inn brand. I would never recommend this hotel!

Service at late night was okay; they were 'finally' accommodating. I would happily stay again as it was a decent experience but can be smoother perhaps.

The price/performance ratio is good, but the environment and facilities are average, about the same level as Home Inn Hanting. It's a few minutes walk from the subway.

The cemeteries are all around. It ’s scary. It ’s such a big one. I do n’t see foreigners as much. The culture is really different.
