Wingate by Wyndham Stays in New York

The location was good and the room was clean. Breakfast was an American breakfast buffet that you can imagine with bread, waffles, yogurt and cereals, and there were bacon and scrambled eggs.

It's about a 5-minute walk from the subway station. However, I felt the security wasn't great at night. It might be a bit dangerous for a woman to walk around alone. The hotel itself was good, and while the breakfast wasn't top-tier, it was useful for filling up. The staff were all friendly, the room was clean, and everything was good, but there is just one downside: the shower is separated from the room by translucent glass, so please be aware that it could lead to a very awkward situation. I don't understand why they designed it like this.

Cons: 1. The location is a bit unsafe. 2. The large, floor-to-ceiling air conditioner in the room is quite noisy and needs to be turned off to sleep. These are standard features in all hotels, so there's nothing you can do about it. Pros: 1. Professional service and quick check-in. 2. I checked out a day early, and the front desk was very attentive and printed out a check-in form and informed me that a full refund would be given. 3. Clean and tidy. 4. Breakfast is basic, and free coffee and water are available in the lobby. 5. There's a rest area in the lobby with internet access and a printer.
