Travelodge Newbury Tot Hill

We needed to stay near Winchester for two nights, with easy access to the North side of the city. Tot Hill Travelodge was ideally situated, easy to access off the A34 and just 20 minutes from our destination. The staff seemed to genuinely care that our stay was as pleasant as it could be and offered help with luggage. The building was clean throughout, but there are clues that it is not new in the older style of plumbing and electrical fittings, but everything was fully functional

Suited trip with location just off A34 etc , price good, made an early start. Fuel station opposite, a Starbucks next door useful, and a MCDonalds for those who partake. Would have preferred a pub myself

It was one of the best hotels in the town charming so close to the main road but still very quiet. Somewhere to eat two minutes walk away. It is a very clean and luxurious bath. Adeel and his team were really helpful and caring i think the second name was Ethan The bed was comfy and wifi was good, We Only had one night but would have happily stayed longer if we could

My stay was excellent value for money, even when compared to more expensive hotels - I think I got more for my money here than anywhere else I've stayed. The room was bright, airy and spacious; the towels were fresh and soft; and the bathroom was clean and modern. Lizzy on reception was friendly and personable. She had a wonderfully positive, can-do attitude, and her manager was also kind and professional. When asked a question that she wasn't sure about, Lizzy explained that she was still learning the reception job but that "everything is a training opportunity!" and efficiently got her manager to help. Lizzy took initiative when selecting my room, choosing a room that was furthest from the road so that I'd have a quiet stay, and I really appreciated this thoughtfulness. I had a very restful stay and wasn't disturbed at all by noise even with the window cracked open. I pre-ordered a breakfast box and this was good value, tasty, and really convenient as I chose to collect it at check in for an easy morning. I also pre-paid for WiFi which Lizzie explained how to redeem the code and offered to help me set it up. The connection faired well and handled a long video meeting with minimal disruption. I enjoyed the convenient location with plentiful free parking, as well as being next to a Starbucks and across the carpark from a McDonald's. I have a other stay booked on my return journey, and would book without hesitation if ever I am in the area again. Thank you for a really great stay!

Arrived at 3pm yesterday. Were greeted by a very friendly, helpful and cheerful lady. Sorry didn't get her name. She was very accommodating, it wasn't any trouble to give us an upstairs room. It was lovely chatting to her. We had a room overlooking the woods, so quiet, room looked like it has been refurbished. Very clean. Great stopover if you want a good night's sleep. Will definitely stay again. Well done Travelodge.

The hotel was clean and quiet with a nearby Starbucks and McDonald's and shop nearby. All the staff was very kind and helpful especially I will mention Adeel he is such a nice person to communicate with. There was a bath and shower which I liked and the room was spacious. I also like that you can extend the check in and check out time if needed. Plenty of parking available and easy to get to.

Lizzie was very welcoming upon our arrival. Room was very clean. Lovely nights sleep. Really sorry its making me do a minium of 200 character currently at 131. Will definitely stay here again clean bathroom good price for a night finally at 200

Easy to get to and close to Highclere Castle, the staff Adeel was accommodating at the reception he gave us a warm welcome with a smile which made your day and nothing too much trouble. Great having Starbucks and McDonalds next door. Easy to get to Newbury Centre and close to local eateries, will recommend it to family and friends cheers 🥂
