They still have our pre-pandemic room deposit and we are praying for a re-opening. The owner David Dodwell also owns The Reefs in Bermuda which has remained open. On a bright side management (Pam Martin) has been good communicating with us over this long pandemic period.

We were heart sick to learn Nesbit is no longer in business. Visited the property today and it is abandoned and returning to a natural state. While we had enjoyed a perfect evening here 2 years ago and planned on going again we learned via email they are closed with not suggestion of re-opening. Hoping that someone will reclaim this property with its amazing history and outstanding service.

This is not a luxury hotel with all the extras. In fact it's pretty ordinary. Can make you relax and calm down. There is no TV in the suite. I like that. There are wireless ports almost everywhere, not a big fan. Been to a lot of nice places in the Middle East and thought... hey how is it going here? But after a week I get it. Best of all are the delicious restaurants and bars. We never ate out. The staff are friendly and since the hotel is small they remember every guest's name. The only downside was some minor maintenance issues: chipped toilet seat, broken pool shower, none of these were acceptable. I also think the garden area near the beach needs a revamp.
