Excellent staff doing more
The service was excellent! We had a malfunctioning TV that was quickly remedied. The linens were stained a couple of times with dirt or something else and it was also quickly resolved. It’s a skeleton crew working there and they are doing their best. They’re as attentive as they can be. At the end of the day overall, it was clean and a good spot to sleep before exploring Newport’s offerings.

Sink was not draining well,we told the desk about it. They said would sent some body to fix but was never fixed.

Old and dirty
Room was not clean. Chipped paint
The top edge of the shower had a lot of dirt/ dust , like it had not been cleaned in months.

You get what you get. A place to lay your head. There is no AC, so we attempted to leave the balcony door open, but the sea lions were so loud we had to shut the door! (This is not the hotel’s fault, just an FYI so others know as I was surprised to find zero heat/ac controls in the room).

The first room smelled so bad that we had to change rooms. But the second one had mold around the tub. Low water pressure and not much hot water.

Don’t stay here
Ants & spiders. Horrible bed. Front desk did not care. They acted like the get a lot of complaints.
