We’ve been here before but decided to try another short break and wow, we are glad we did. Stunning location with a recent re vamp on the building. Staff incredible. Tried the couples mud massage - haven’t laughed like that in years. Special thanks to Adam at dinner - Exceptional. Look forward to the next break with you

It's hard to describe how wonderful Scarlet Hotel is! From our initial walk in the door to when we left, we felt wrapped in care and consideration of our needs, had the best spa experiences EVER (they are so personal, what a difference!) and vegan food that was absolutely unparalleled, in the most tranquil and calm environment. But the best thing is the people, Scarlet people are fabulous, and give just the right amount of attentiveness and remember small details about you that make you feel like you are the only ones staying there.

Had a relaxing 2 night break at this lovely hotel. We had gorgeous weather and were able to chill on the sun-beds and enjoy the amazing views. Service was excellent and food was up there with the best! Our room no 9 was very good with a nice balcony and sunset views. The hot tub experience again amazing. If I could have given 4.5 stars I would have. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review was the spa treatments - had better. We will return!

Food gorgeous , location amazing , staff okay. I do wish kernow wasn't bought out by rich investors that don't care for the county but here we are. Felt judged upon walking in due to tattoos and piercings which I shouldn't be in the day we live in but cest la vie. Even walking through the bedruthan but it is what it is. I feel like the bed and scarlet are now just for the rich Investors and rich partners they don't care otherwise

Attention to detail from staff in all areas was incredible. The breakfast and dinner menu perfectly curated and the chef and kitchen staff very professional. The spa is just perfect, offering wonderful holistic treatments with absolutely no up-selling and knowledgeable, friendly staff. An incredibly relaxing time-capsule all round in the most amazing location.

The location of Scarlet hotel is unbelievable. A direct view of the beach and ocean for our room, being able to watch the sun set. The overall feel of the hotel is very cosy yet contemporary. The parking is restricted at the hotel but they manage this by securing your car keys and getting your car when needed. The only problem to this is there was only 1 person at front of house and you had to wait ages to get your key. The service received from the restaurant staff / chef was incredible, I could not fault the food and beverages. Make sure you explore the grounds as there are lots of little private snug areas and sun traps. Our room could have done with a bit of TLC (Loose decking boards / paint peeling in the bathroom) but overall a beautiful get away with the husband

We've stayed at the Scarlet quite a few times, but not recently. Always blown away by it, but not this time. It's as beautiful as ever, but if you're paying the best part of £300 per night for B&B in a basic room, you expect the details to be right, every time. They weren't. We ordered tea and water for our room. We had to call them back and waited 25 minutes and the order was wrong. At breakfast, the coffees came cold and went back, the breakfast was ordinary ( I couldn't cut the bacon with my knife) and this was after we were told we couldn't sit outside for breakfast. It was a beautiful morning, but I suppose they didn't want to be inconvenienced. A lot of staff were young and didn't look like they had their hearts set on a career in hospitality. Sad, but standards, unlike their prices, have dropped.
