Hotel-Restaurant Isidore Nice Ouest

Facilities: Arrived at night, and the elevator was broken. Had to carry all my luggage up to the third floor myself. Cleanliness: Subpar. The room was so small I couldn't even open a slightly larger suitcase. The toilet had yellow stains. Environment: The surrounding scenery was decent and open. Service was mediocre. The hairdryer was broken and there was no warning – it was covered in dirt. The shower stall was so tiny you had to turn sideways to get in. The water temperature was unstable, with inconsistent pressure and fluctuating between hot and cold. The only positive was the free parking. Overall experience was terrible. Poor value for money. A room costing over a thousand was definitely not worth it. I practically fled the place... Other hotels nearby seemed much better. The main issues were questionable hygiene and average service. Compared to prices in my home country, this felt like an 80-dollar room, barely suitable for one person.

The hotel is conveniently located right at the last stop of tram line 3 (direction Isidore, see photo 3). After getting off, it's less than a minute's walk to your left. It's also a short ride to Promenade des Anglais; I recommend getting off at Ferber station, where there's a large supermarket nearby and you can even watch planes flying over the sea. The front desk staff were all very friendly. During my 6-day stay, the room was cleaned daily. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was cool, clean, and odor-free. Breakfast was delicious! The first day had chicken with potatoes, but it wasn't offered again for the remaining 5 days, which was a bit disappointing 😭. If you're planning to visit the towns around Nice, get off at the Arenas station (I think that's the name, I can't quite recall), and across from it, there's a train station that goes directly to various towns, making transportation very convenient. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's excellent value for money, especially during peak season. Nice is incredibly beautiful, and I'll definitely be back!

The front desk staff were very welcoming, and there was free iced water and coffee available. The room was clean and tidy, offering great value for money. It's right next to the Line 3 terminal, though the only downside might be that it's a bit far from Nice Old Town.

Excellent breakfast, and the location is right by the tram station. There's also an IKEA nearby where you can have a delicious lunch.

Even though it's not in the city center, getting around was quite convenient. I was able to check in early, so I took a short nap before heading out. The facilities were decent, and breakfast was consistently good. The only downside was that the room wasn't very spacious.
