We were offered a room with half board here as our original booking on Bellapais was not properly in season. The room was comfortable, super comfy beds. Lovely staff and the food for breakfast and dinner was excellent, the best and biggest selection of salads, cheese, olives pastries etc. alongside the main offerings. The best pastries I have had for a very long time. The manager Didem, Hussein on the front desk and Mrs Ozcan were all very helpful. Amazing value. We don't recognise the hotel from some of the negative reviews here.

The room was nice but the door handle in bathroom was broken. The door at the bottom was split. The balcony had damage on there too. The mini bar isn’t free and there is no price list you had to ring to find out how much everything was. There is room service but no menu you have to ring for them to bring it up that took a while. When the food did come it was nice. The rooms weren’t getting cleaned properly. There was a staple on the floor and stuck into my foot, not even sure how that got there. The breakfast was ok more continental style. I have an allergy and nothing was even labelled to say what it was never mind any allergy on there. E.g cake was just called *cake* nothing specific.

Horrible hotel Once you enter the hotel and all the way through the hotel wherever you go, a horrible cigarette smell will greet you. The gave us the room 332 which the balcony was closed under construction. The bathroom was very poor, after the shower all the water would spill out due to holes on the wall. After, lunch unfortunately, we weren’t able to open the door of our room due to some archaic system they have….. changing the cards and waiting for an hour for maintenance to come we requested for a room change. We moved to 409, unfortunately the room did not have cups, mugs or a kettle, we requested them but only received after 3 hours. We had breakfast and dinner, the options were limited especially during dinner, it was tasteless. Thank you Bris (Receptionist), Mert (Bell Boy), Leila (Restaurant) and Yasin (Restaurant) you were professional and very kind.

Fantastic hotel, everything about it was amazing, room beautiful, bedding superb and all the staff were extremely friendly and nice. The breakfast was absolutely superb with everything including a chocolate fountain and chocolate toffee apples, can’t wait to stay there again but for longer.

Savoy for 7 nights £630 sounded too good to be true I smelt a rat right away. Having stayed in Kyrenia many times over the years and never been disappointed I thought all would be fine. Arrived around 23.00. Was charged right away. Took myself and my luggage up to the worst room I'd ever seen, and ive been backpacking around India. I went straight back down and after a quick discussion, the same ***** who just charged me said its a bad room because it is soon to be upgraded. Then tried to make me feel like he was doing me a favor by giving me a newly refurbished room. There was a kettle, no tea no coffee no milk no sugar no water empty mini bar and noooooo toilet paper and I've been traveling for 10 hours. Again went back to the desk to hear more nonsense about the maid being off today. Things just kept getting worse. I've never seen a hotel turn off the escalators at night. I had to rent a car and the hotel offers parking but you must leave the car keys. I came back for the car after dinner and it wasn't there. It took 40mins to find someone who knew where someone else had parked it. Three Street away. The building looks great online but it's far from it. They don't care about their customers they are not part of the Savoy in London they are just as fake as the £40 Rolex watchs you can buy around the corner. Never in a million years would I come back. I can go on but like I said it'll make no difference because like I said they don't give a rat's . Management should be sacked.

We booked this hotel primarily because it offered on site car parking. When we arrived, the car park was minimal and I was made to hand over my keys for them to park it. I asked for them back but was told that they keep them, my car would stay where it was with 24 hour security and cameras. I was very anxious but they were insistent that it would stay there and be fine. After around an hour, my family and I left the hotel for a walk and were shocked that as we reached the bottom of the road, my car should appear being driven down it. We followed it to a very shoddy low level car park. It was filthy, with graffiti and building work crumbling. It was parked inadequately as well. I asked for my keys back and was refused again. At this point, we returned to the reception and after a lengthy discussion, my car was brought back to the original car park. I felt that they lied and it created a terribly stressful situation. To give the receptionists their due, they listened to our concerns and even sent a platter of fruit to our rooms. The rooms were basic but OK. Unfortunately, due to the 24 hour ******, we barely slept as there were loud people talking on the landing all night. This is something which the hotel needs to do more to address. The restaurant had a lovely view and whilst food was fairly limited in choice, they made a special effort to provide me with some gluten free food. Overall, because of our experience on arrival, I would never stay here again. If you do not have a car with you, your experience may be quite different however.

we checked in and we paid at the reception . the room is so hot and the only option on the air-conditioning is heating. when i told the manager about it he advice me what to do ,his answer was “if you don’t like it then we can give you your money back and you check out now” after we had everything in the room and travelled 2 hours to come here Very bad service..they didn't even take us to the rooms ... We were very tired and we really wanted to go to relax but couldn't do that as they destroy our staying...Definitely not coming back and we DON'T Recommend it
