Three things really stood out for us:
1. **Breakfast:** Consistently satisfying every day. The seafood and fresh ingredients were excellent, and the pudding, soup curry, and roasted pumpkin are all highly recommended.
2. **Natural Hot Spring:** Very convenient for a relaxing soak. It was never crowded and always clean. Complimentary ice pops or Yakult drinks were a lovely touch after coming out.
3. **Location:** Situated right at the doorstep of JR Sapporo Station, a major transportation hub. With a day pass, getting anywhere by public transport was incredibly convenient, and it was just as easy to return to the hotel from various spots, saving a lot of walking.
If I ever return, I would definitely stay here again!
One peculiar thing: When I booked the room through Ctrip, I received a special notice (pictured in 3 and 4) stating that a cleaning fee was not included and that towels were only provided for self-replacement by the door. However, this notice was completely absent when I booked through a different platform, which I found quite strange.

Located betweent the train station and the canal. So it is walkable to several points of interest.
The parking of 2400 yen a night is more expensive than some 24 hours parking.
The onsen is but small, so can be crowded during peak hours.
The free ramen was a bit salty, but the fact that it is free, with free ice cream and yakult, is a nice touch, especially when most dining places close early

While the hotel might be a bit older, its location is truly excellent. It's right opposite Otaru Station, with a convenience store and pharmacy downstairs, and a large supermarket and Daiso just across the street. The onsen (hot spring bath) was also nice, offering complimentary ramen and cold drinks. Breakfast was extensive, featuring dishes like soup curry and seafood rice. The mini-fridge in the room had complimentary water and pudding, and free coffee was available at the front desk. Check-in and check-out were very convenient, with self-service kiosks available in Chinese.

Staying at this hotel during my first visit to Otaru, Hokkaido, its location couldn't be more convenient. It's directly across the street from Otaru Station, just a 5-minute walk after you get off the train. What's more, it boasts its own hot spring bath (onsen), and the breakfast, at only 2800 yen, offers incredible value for money. You can have all the salmon and salmon roe you want there! Sometimes, you just have to admire Japanese efficiency; even a hotel in such a small town can implement an online queuing system for breakfast. However, this queuing system is definitely necessary, as people are already waiting for tables right after breakfast opens at 6:30 AM.

You may like to stay here if you are a fan of bed bugs.
I found two bugs in a 20 sq. m room and tried to report the staff speaking limited English. They blocked my family and directed us to the check in and out machines until I showed the bugs. They then realised it's a problem and started using a translation pocket device to communicate with me to address my concerns.
A 30 sq. m room is arranged as an exchange (or a compensation?) for the stay. But I can't sleep well that night because of losing confidence in the cleanliness of the whole inn.

Everything spot on. Onsen, evening ramen, free ice-cream and yokult were a nice touch. Very friendly atmosphere and professional staff providing help when needed. Automatic multistorey parking on site for the peace of mind will set you back for 1400 yen. Unless you wanna drive around to find something 200 yen cheaper. Room perfect and the memory pillows gave a good night sleep. Mind you that some could find it a tad hard though. Otherwise no complaints

Hotel is located in the most convenient place, it is just in front of the otaru station. We can easily take the reserved bus to Kiroro snow world, walk to Otaru canal and walking street. The yogurt drink, ice cream and Ramen are provided for all customers. However, the room size is a bit small but it is fine if staying alone.
