It was a very comfortable as well as a memorable experience for me at Zostel Ooty. The staffs were very cooperative and helpful. The location of the hostel is very convenient for solo travelers as the bus stand is just a kilometre away and most of the attractions in and around Ooty are accessible by bus.

Zostel Ooty is at a stunning location with fascinating views. Don't forget to carry your warm clothes can get really chilly here. The hostel ***agers are quite friendly and help you out in every way possible. Quality Food-10/10. Quality Crowd. Highly Recommend

A great hostel, located perfectly on top of a hill. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The premises are clean and the bathrooms are always clean. The hostel has a kitchen that serves amazing food all day long. Highly recommended. Would stay again

The food service was terrible. This Zostel uses an online food ordering system and has inexperienced staff who only communicates through mobile phone. In times of covid I understand this system. Now it felt impersonal and annoying to receive a phone call from a person standing right next to you about your food order.

Mohit, the main guy who runs this place is a gem of a person. The entire kitchen staff is nice and polite. The location is also very pretty Disliked · It seems the ***agement was more interested in having long term remote workers. The hostel had 5-6 remote workers who encroach on all the common areas, they made a lot of noise from 11 PM to 4 AM and ruined everybody's sleep. These people were real ill ***nered folks who didn't have any respect for other's personal space. It is the fault of the ***agement (not the staff) who prefer this buisness model over having travellers who come here for a day or two. I don't have any issue with that but its not for me and I would not come back here again.

The location of Zostel is one of the best - overlooking Ooty, and it's just a 5 minutes walk from the railway station and bus stand. Having stayed at multiple Zostels before, I wasn't sure how well this property would meet my expectations- but I had a lovely time here. Nice comfortable rooms, I loved their in-house online food ordering system, and I made some lovely friends there. It was extremely cold in March first week and we all huddled around the bonfire and played games till midnight. Superb stay.
