We had exceptionally high expectations for our 2 night stay with Manuel and Elodie after scouring the reviews. I can honestly say everything about our stay exceeded our expectations; the Calm lodge with its private terrace, beautiful views, Hammam and spa, the 5 course meal delivered to our room by Chef-extraordinaire Eve of Le Coin, the breakfast baskets with homemade jams, and the warm hospitality of our hosts. To say we felt pampered would be an understatement - Bien Loin d’ici is très romantique and exceptional!

We stayed at Bien Lion for 5 nights in September. We absolutely loved it and what Manuel has created. With only 3 luxury rooms it is nice and peaceful and private . Our room was very comfortable and everything had been thought of . The decking area was private and it was fun having our own hot tub and sauna too . Loved the pool area too ! Manuel was a fantastic host without being intrusive. The place is well located for exploring the beauty towns and villages nearby.

We booked for 3 nights in one of the lovey luxury rooms. Manual is a perfect host. His breakfast with local and homemade products are delicious. The pool, the garden and ofcourse the private sauna and hottub were great. Hope to come back next year.

It was a pleasure to stay in this very nice location. We like places which are modern, authentic, natural/eco. We booked the dinner, cooked and served by the chef on the terrace - this is a must. The garden is full of different flowers, a paradise for bees. Breakfast is created by Manuel in high bio quality. Manuel is a smart senior host, we will definitely stay here again if we are in the region. All the best and keep this paradise on top level!

We spent 4 of the most romantic nights here in June and to say that it far exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Manuel could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the Volupté eco-lodge which was SO comfortable, the sheets are so soft and the pre-made playlists on the ipad really help with the ambiance! We had a jacuzzi and sauna on our terrace which was right beside the glorious pool. On our first night Manuel organised for a local Chef to come and prepare dinner on our terrace, which was a godsend as we were tired on arrival. The breakfast's each day were delicious, especially the mango jam. Nimes is only a 10 minute drive and offers a wide range of wonderful restaurants and shops. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to return.
