Once upon a time

The owner is incredibly welcoming and always provides free pick-up and drop-off to Daluoshui Village. The courtyard is charming, filled with beautiful flowers and plants, and the resident cats and dogs are absolutely adorable. We loved being able to see the stunning lake view right from our room. Plus, it's wonderfully quiet at night. Highly recommend!

The guesthouse boasts an excellent location, nestled between Sanjiacun and Daluoshui, making it incredibly convenient for transportation and very close to the bus station. The courtyard is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the lake view is quite pleasant. The owner is incredibly hospitable; they even offered to pick us up if we were out late! We arrived a bit late at noon and were looking for a place to eat. Even after we'd decided on a restaurant ourselves, the owner kindly drove us there. Fantastic service! 👍

From the outside, it looked a bit old, which almost put me off, but once inside, it was a delightful surprise. This was hands down the best guesthouse of our seven-day Yunnan trip. It doesn't feel like a typical hotel; it's more like a cozy, thoughtfully decorated private room. The highlight for me was the lovely garden on the ground floor and the stunning lake view directly from the balcony. I could (and did!) spend an entire afternoon just sitting there. I forgot to take photos of the room, but suffice it to say, it was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and spotless. The owner was exceptionally kind. We had homemade noodles and rice noodles from their small kitchen for dinner. The price was unbelievably low – just 10-15 RMB – and they tasted absolutely delicious. This guesthouse truly redeemed my impression of B&Bs in Yunnan. It's simply gorgeous and wonderful. Lugu Lake itself is breathtakingly beautiful too. Next time, I plan to stay for a whole week, and I will definitely choose this place again.

A fantastic B&B! The pets are adorable, and the hosts are just as lovely! The location is superb; I found it far superior to staying in Daluoshui Village. The lakeside and scenic boardwalk are just a couple of steps away. The surroundings are incredibly quiet and peaceful, a vast improvement over the noisy atmosphere of Daluoshui Village. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and their simple meals are absolutely delicious – I wished I could have eaten them six times in two days! We also thoroughly enjoyed the company of their cats and dogs. And the rooms themselves were fantastic – excellent lake views, great facilities, and incredibly relaxing. We were also incredibly lucky to catch a beautiful sunrise during our visit. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The lake view was absolutely breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. The owner was wonderful, offering free pick-up and drop-off service from Daluoshui. There's also a small path nearby that leads directly to the Sanjiacun boardwalk. Overall, it far exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely satisfied.

The window directly overlooks Lugu Lake, and the view is absolutely stunning! 😙♪♪ The hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable; they even made us wontons, which truly gave it a cozy, home-like feel. 🫰😘🫰 Last but not least, Pipi the dog and the resident cats were absolutely adorable and had such friendly temperaments – they absolutely loved getting pets and cuddles! ✌️😍✌️
