Nishiizu Crystal View Hotel Reviews

Nishiizu is a bit difficult to get to without a car, and transportation costs are quite high, so I didn't go, but I did take the round-trip bus. I arrived much earlier than planned, so I was able to visit Koganezaki before checking in. The inn was just as pictures had suggested—a fairytale-like, romantic atmosphere, but with a retro feel that really captured my heart. Inside, it was stylish and modern! You could even describe it as Scandinavian-style. I took countless photos of both the exterior and interior. My room faced the ocean, but it was rainy and cloudy, which was a bit disappointing. Still, having an ocean view from the room was nice. The dolphin pool, the hotel's symbol, was also lovely. I wish I'd come in the summer to see everyone having fun. The food was luxurious, even for an Itoen Hotel, thanks to the seafood fair they were having. The clam chowder was delicious. The baths are alternated between men and women, and both the crystal bath and the cypress bath were excellent! The front desk staff were all very kind, and despite the bad weather, it was a wonderful trip.
