Samanala Resort by Travel Corners - Wilpattu

This hotel completely destroyed our travel plans and left us stranded with no place to stay. They lost our confirmed booking without any warning or apology. When we arrived, the staff seemed baffled and unhelpful, offering no real solution. To add insult to injury, the pool was out of order—something they never mentioned beforehand— and there was no WiFi at all anywhere on the property. In today’s world, that’s unacceptable. They then told us they would move us to another nearby hotel at the same price, but when we got there, the price was nearly $300—double what was promised. With no alternative and zero support from the original hotel, we chose not to stay at either location. The whole experience was a nightmare of broken promises, misinformation, and poor customer service. This hotel cannot be trusted to honor bookings or provide the basic amenities they advertise. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere—don’t risk your trip or your money here
