Great location in the middle of Hastings St. The moment you walk out of the property, you are in the thick of it! They call themselves a "resort" but in fairness, I think they're playing fast and loose with this term. It's more accurately described as a multi storey block of small, self contained units. Don't get me wrong, our unit was lovely, with a reasonably sized bedroom, and an ample loungeroom, with small kitchen and balcony overlooking the "swimming" pool...I'll come back to that in a moment. The ensuite was tiny, with a toilet, shower cubicle and hand basin, with some bench space, but a strange absence of an exhaust fan or towel hooks/rails. We arrived to find a toilet roll that had already been started on the wall, and a single full roll in one of the cupboards. Both rolls were twin ply only leaving the user with the very real prospect of having to carefully clean their fingernails after every wipe. Whilst I'm talking about toilet paper, let me say that management's control over this commodity is TIGHT! We had to resort to asking staff on a daily basis for more paper, only to be handed a single roll with a look of disdain. Don't bother trying to ask for two rolls... you'd have more luck asking Putin to abandon his invasion of the Ukraine! All of this was a bitter pill to swallow for two adults who have the regularity of a fine Swiss timepiece. The "swimming" pool was kept at a comfortable 30 degrees Celsius but don't expect to be swimming any laps here. It is more accurate to describe this as a plunge pool, as any attempt to swim the length of it would be accomplished in perhaps two strokes! Despite all this, it was a great location and I'd certainly stay here again...albeit with my own supply of four-ply!

Terrible building noise, all day started at 5.30 most days windows are not double glazed as mentioned by managers in previous review responses. Bath rooms have a mesh vent which is required so the side which faced the building site was like having your windows open to the noise. Our unit was no 12 so construction was only a couple of metres away. The unit should never have been rented during the construction period. I did complain and was offered a move, the staff called the construction company in front of me and they were told the work was coming to an end and only painting was going to be done from now on for the construction period over the weekend so in faith stupidly we decided to stay! The scissor lift goes up and down with the beeping high pitched, workers having a good yell over the noise, tools being dropped on the scaffolding! We had an email from the booking agency with a tiny line mentioning there COULD be building noise during the day, so bad luck. The collection of garbage along the back where our unit was started at 5.00am and is done most days as it’s the drop off spot for most of the rubbish in large wheelie containers for the businesses along here, laundry is delivered and picked up around this time daily. Scaffolding started banging at 5.45 most days one morning 4.22am yep! Writing this at 6.22 and the scaffolding is going off! If you want to have an afternoon nap here after the beach forget it and if you have kids that need a sleep your in trouble! We were assured that it’s temporary, well our trip was stuffed! We were at the back of the block you need to avoid the river side Noosa Parade even if there is no construction the deliveries are just so early. We had a group come for a 60th birthday most of us stayed in the back towers we were very upset by the noise. The units are not luxury they are well appointed and on the older side they did the job. Do a lot of research don’t book through an agency go direct.

We recently stayed at Bella Casa for September school holidays 2022. We booked a superior room based on the information and images on the website. The rooms looked so lovely online. We paid $580 a night to stay in one of the Superior Apartments. We were in apartment 12. This apartment was anything BUT Superior. We were on the first floor at the back of the facility with the living, kitchen and balcony directly above the 28 street bins that are picked up every morning at 6am, waking us up with constant noise that goes on and on. Its worth noting these bins are for all the restaurants and shops at this end of Hastings street. The street noise and gate noise is so loud we never opened the doors or windows to enjoy the balcony. The 1990’s leather lounge suite is dated & uncomfortable and when you sit on it, it moves along the floor because there is no floor covering. There is no relief for feet as there is no where to wipe your feet, no floor mats or rugs other than the 1x2metre tiny rug under the coffee table. Do not be fooled by the term Superior. The standard rooms appear to be better than apartment 12 and we paid $100 more a day than those who booked a standard double room. The standard rooms offer big balconies away from street and bin noise with much nicer interiors. I note that online it states that the Superior apartments are considered renovated. Yes the ensuite in apt 12 has been renovated but (but not worth $100 a day more for a renovated ensuite), the remainder of the apartment is not renovated and looks like the standard apartments. I think we absolutely pulled the short straw here. we were beyond disappointed. My recommendation is to avoid Apartment 12. How the apartment is classified Superior isnt just a matter of personal taste - its about the experience, and an apartment perched above 28 rubbish bins with an enormous lack of superior appointments, in my view, is false advertising. I did email reception about this and the person managing at the time was extremely lovely and understanding. Our consolation was an extra hour (11am) check out.
