Unique sunrise oceans' view

Incredible place This is a place like no other! You become part of Nature, you become one with the ocean before you.The place is very comfortable.

Fantastic view, spartan conditions The view is beyond incredible, however we struggled with lack of hot water (you have to wait for it for 5 minutes and then it would last for 3 minutes) so it was impossible to take hot shower and we had to heat water on the stove and in the kettle - old fashion way. It was a bit cold inside in April. The new addition to the original house (kitchen with the grill, sunroom with the huge ottaman)

Beautiful and peaceful A wonderful place to stay with incredible views and the sound of the ocean waves at all times.

Beautiful Views The place is located in a beautiful bay. very secluded birched on a cliff with amazing views. simple but charming.

You will never find this again, anywhere The steps from the parking lot to the front door are a challenge, but I’m 70 and I did it. The reward is an experience you will never duplicate anywhere else. The waves crash against the shore 10 feet from your head as you lay in bed. Sounds trite, but you are truly one with nature. There is no one else around. Just you. Both daunting and glorious at the same time.

A place to unwind and view the stars The house is located on the eastern edge of Sao Miguel. The view of the ocean, gorgeous coastline, and the stars at night are spectacular. It is a bit of a drive to get places, so pack sufficient food. The house is rustic and situated in the middle of lush vegetation, so expect some "natural" elements in the house. The outside deck is fabulous for lounging or eating on warm nights. The house has everything you need, including a washing machine. There are quite a few steps to climb to get to the parking area. The house is isolated and very quiet, a great place for truly unwinding.
