Kindness, courtesy, good functioning of the wi fi, the only flaw perhaps not attributable to the hotel is the lack of light for some hours, and the presence of an Orthodox church nearby which does not allow a peaceful sleep at night.

It is possible that in the past this was a vey good hotel however today it obviously lacks any maintenance. I was given a room where there was no water in the toilet. I requested it to be fixed but it wasn’t. I then requested a different room. Despite the fact that there was virtually nobody staying at the hotel I actually had to spend 30 minutes convincing a manager that water in a toilet is necessary. The room I was finally given had a damp ceiling and was certainly not well maintained but since I was only staying one night I accepted it. Other guests noted that they had no hot water in the shower. Positives…the view from the hotel, the buffet breakfast was really good and dinner at the hotel restaurant was also good.

Rooms exposed to the sun but without air conditioning. Poor maintenance. Limited kitchen. WARNING: I was robbed of 60 dollars and local notes of little value in a non-transparent plastic bag placed in my suitcase. Never happened in any other hotel in the world. The hotel management did not take any action on the matter.

A complete disappointment! We had stayed athis other hotel in Arbamich so we thought we would have the same experience! Toilet not working! Room on third floor with no lift. Room door not closing properly. No bedside lamps. One hanger. Staff lying about fixing toilet.

My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel after we made the 3 days Simien hike with Eyosi Worede. We found this hotel very good, clean and close to the city to visit the town and the castle by ourselves. First we have booked our hotel in the small guesthouse but we asked Eyosi Worede who organize our trip to change a better place because we got very tired in the hiking and wanted to stay the night a bit comfy as possible and he called and booked for us.

The beautiful photo at the airport suggests a beautiful hotel. It is not so!!! Everything is mediocre. Outdated room, broken desk chair, deplorable bathroom: broken bathtub, broken faucets. Zero food, incompetent staff. We wanted to try the pool, sun loungers are smashed, towels in tatters. The situation in the region, curfew at 8 p.m. does not encourage tourism, but the state of this hotel suggests that it has been poorly managed for a long time.

Lots of appearance but there is still work to be done. Faucets to be fixed, elevator broken for years (they tell me), rather modest rooms. The rooms are clean and the staff is kind. Wi-Fi works and hot water in the bathrooms. Prices are average for the country.
