Queens Head Hotel

During our stay, our whole family was bitten by insects. We had booked for a month and moved out overnight. We were bitten all over our bodies. What was even more terrible was that we found insects, and the quilt had red wine and blood stains. Various stains! Ctrip and the hotel also actively communicated, but they still said that they would not refund any room fee. This was a problem that occurred during the stay. It was extremely itchy and the hygiene was extremely poor. I complained to the front desk manager and their person in charge many times, but they didn't even refund the room fee. They didn't take any responsibility. I advise everyone to quit going to this hotel! No one at the front desk checked in, and no one cared if something happened. Poor service and poor hygiene. Otherwise, if you get bitten, the hotel will not care at all!

Although we stayed for multiple nights, we had to check out once because the same room we had reserved was not available. Since we were planning to join a tour, we asked if we could leave our luggage with them, and they gladly accepted and helped us out. When we returned from the tour and checked in again, our luggage had been brought to our new room. The room was compact because it was a regular room, not the guest room we had stayed in the night before, but the bathroom was spacious and we had no problems staying there with just my daughter. Hotels in Hobart are very tight and expensive during Christmas and New Year, so this one is good value for money. The hotel is a little far from the city center, but it is okay to walk there. This is a hotel with few rooms. The hotel does not have a dedicated front desk. It is jointly operated with the hotel downstairs. It seems that there is no service staff when the hotel is closed. The room is not big but it is ok for three people to stay. It was clean and tidy when we checked in, but no one came to clean and change the bath towels, etc. after three days of stay. Only someone came to take away the garbage every day. In addition, the Simmons mattress is relatively soft and not very comfortable to sleep on. It needs to be replaced.
