Little Norton Mill

We have just returned after our 2 night stay at little Norton mill and have had the best time in these perfectly well planned out mill conversion cottages. From the moment we arrived we was greeted by Matt the owner who took us around to our cottage and took time to explain everything we needed to know and recommend places to visit. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need and was immaculate, the beds was clean and super comfy. The area as soon as you enter Little Norton Hamdon is a perfect little village with pubs within walking and a 10 minute drive so ample choice. The grounds surrounding the mill are beautiful and very well kept with plenty of place to walk,they even have goats, a sheep and a very beautiful friendly cat who certainly wanted to spend time with us in the cottage🤣 this was not a problem as he/she was very cute and loving. You are very close to Beer,Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Wells and cheddar to mention just a few! We actually did them all and loved every location. We would without hesitation happily recommend anyone looking for that perfect country location as it ticks all the right boxes. A wonderful cottage in great surroundings. A warm welcome. Well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. Great views. We loved it and can see why people come back again and again. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Great places to eat nearby and many places to visit within easy reach.

This is a wonderful place to stay, so peaceful and in a beautiful setting. We were in Lilac overlooking the lake and we loved sitting out every day seeing the wildlife and being visited by the ducks. Matt and Abby were great hosts, really friendly and helpful giving us tips on places to visit and to eat. We highly recommend Little Norton Mill for a relaxing break and will return.

Our second stay here this year and it didn’t disappoint. A lovely locations and gorgeous, well kept accommodation. Owners always give a friendly welcome. Plenty of things to see and do locally. Beautiful walks and the views are stunning from Ham Hill.

As soon as you arrive here you know your in for a wonderful time.The grounds are beautiful and look amazing even in the winter months and the welcome we got with Abby and Matt was just very welcoming and friendly.We had one of the cottages that sleep four which are lovely and are very hi spec and overlooks a beautiful lake and i have never stayed in a place where they have thought of everything and even a free pint of milk in the fridge waiting for you and complimentary biscuits, What a lovely touch.If you are thinking of booking this do not hesitate as this place is pure paradise backed up with lovely hosts and we are going to re book as soon as possible.Thank you for such a wonderful stay. First thing you do is "pinch yourself" because you can't believe this is real. Every turn, is a OMG! You just have to go and experience the stay, sitting on the deck and looking over the tranquility of the setting is breathtaking. The pond, is so gentle with the ducks, but wait, we hear the water flowing over by the this amazing Mill. You can't get this just anywhere. With the outbuildings and acres to stroll and visit the sheep that are so curious. Then get to hike to the amazing old pub up the hill and enjoy the pint and lunch. This is England at its best. Little lanes and the hamlet nearby, is truly a movie set. Back to the stay, well appointed details, the linen, pillows, bedding, perfect. The kitchen well stocked. Matt & Abby were so attentive and loved having the visitor....Ozzy, a real character. Never seen a cot that likes to walk along the gardens with you. A must stay...worth the drive for sure.
