Nottingham city centre by Sunday

In general, my stay was fine. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant, and I appreciated their friendly attitude. However, there were a few issues that affected my experience. There were a number of young men staying on my floor who returned around 2am and made a significant amount of noise for quite some time. Unfortunately, no staff member came to address the disturbance, which made it difficult to sleep. When I eventually began to fall back asleep, I was disturbed again by two pigeons making loud noises outside my window. In the morning, I noticed there were dead pigeons caught in the netting above my window. This was quite unpleasant to see and does not seem healthy or hygienic. Additionally, at £125 per night, I would not expect to see worn carpets. The condition of the flooring did not reflect the price being charged. Overall, while the staff were excellent, these issues did detract from an otherwise fine stay.

I had a lovely one-night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel itself was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to get around. Although my stay was only for one night, it was a very positive experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Completely run down hotel, they are middle of changing the name as well. Absolutely a waste of money. Never again.

Its location is excellent—right in the city centre, close to shops, restaurants and attractions, making it very convenient for exploring Nottingham. The room was clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The only downside is that some facilities look a bit dated and could use an update. Still, for a city-centre stay with great cleanliness and unbeatable location, it’s a solid choice.

I booked two double rooms for my family and we had an excellent stay. The hotel has a 24-hour reception and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout. We were also able to leave our bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was extremely helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. The complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits were a lovely added touch. The location is very convenient — centrally located and only a 12-minute walk from the station. I was also amazed to learn that this is the oldest hotel in the area, built in 1822, featuring a beautiful Grade II listed staircase. The hotel offers a wonderful blend of modern comfort and historic charm. I would highly recommend it for its character, excellent location, and delightful staff.

Great stay, central and close to everything we needed. Room was nice and staff friendly as well.

The room was tiny , dark and depressing. The blind and the curtain wouldn't raise or fall . The breakfast was good as most mecure hotels are . The hotel was located in a good position . For the money I would not stay again as it wasn't good value .
