so good! such a nice and spacious place with anything you may need - oven, stovetop, fridge, dining table and much more. great value for money and excellent staff service even when checking in after hours. very much recommend for groups of 2-4 staying on a budget.

Excellent park. Originally booked 2 night stay on a Powered site but ended up extending a further 2 nights. Easy to access site on the river very picturesque. Amenities were very clean and close to all sites. Friendly and helpful staff and close to Bright

We stayed in a Deluxe 2BR cabin. Cabin was well appointed. Linen was crisp and spotless. Bathroom was spotless. Bed and Pillows were comfortable. Appreciated the Oval dining table instead of the usual weeny table for 4. Beautiful outlook from the cabin veranda to the river. Excellent appliances and sufficient pots and pans. Precisely 4 of everything in regards to crockery – which we found odd, especially as the cabin sleeps 5. Means that you have to keep washing up after each meal, which is not what you want to do when on holiday. Biggest downside of the park is that there are so many permanents, and their places are poorly kept and dirty. And you have to go past them to your cabin. Service was efficient but a bit gruff.

Absolutely amazing stay. Great spot along the river with great section of grass for families along the river too. New amenities are beautiful and so up to date . Dee ( manager) was so helpful and supportive . The whole campground felt like a great supportive community . Definitely will be returning .

This was our first ever visit to beautiful Bright. We were shocked to soon discover that this park are just nothing more than rip off merchants. Everything apart from the very basics that are supplied in the cabins you have to pay for, from the $20 per night for any extra bed used, apart from the main bed, to the extra charges for a fresh towel, or if you use up your tea or coffee you can't just ask for some more, you have to buy extra from their stocks, and pay 8% surcharge when paying by card. One of our friends ( we were part of a group booking) was even charged the extra $20 p.n for a member of our group who couldn't get there until the Saturday, but still had to pay for him, excuse given was that he might "sneak in when the office is closed" !!???. And as an accommodation cleaner myself I quickly discovered all the places that the cleaning staff are NOT cleaning, from the dirty shower base ( needs some real cleaning/bleaching), to the dusty shelves and skirting boards. We will be coming back to Bright, but NOT to this place.

Were lucky enough to be allowed to book the Ranch for a single night - was charged 20 odd dollars for the use of a second bed, which whilst odd was okay by me. Arrived at the Ranch to find: the living room had that horrid stale smoke smell (fortunately it wasn’t in the bedrooms), the second bed that we’d paid extra for hadn’t even been made up, The shower was almost impossible to regulate - just plain hot and then if you looked at it for more than ten seconds it went cold then hot again all without touching the taps, there was no shelf or ledge in the shower for the soap, and the bedrooms were absolutely freezing (and it wasn’t even winter). On the plus side, it was clean and well set out with ample crockery for a number of people.

Took my wife on her first camping trip to the high country..It was a bit of a warm up try out for her coming from Ireland. Cam and Dee welcomed us and luckily we scored site 7..a beautiful grassy riverside spot. If we had of been able we would have stayed longer but they were booked out. The facilities are top notch, great pool to cool off in, manicured grounds (recovering from drought conditions). A great base to explore my favourite part of the world.. Thanks Dee and Cam and"Tommy"...and the rest of the crew for making our stay so good. Deffo see you again when we get back from Ireland.
