Earlsdon Park is very handy for the National Exhibition Centre but there are handfuls of other reasons to stay here too. Coventry Cathedral is worth a stay in itself, and just a stone's throw away, plus you'll have easy access to the rest of the Midlands and beyond. Watch hot ice hockey action at the Skydome. See a Cathedral that earned its architect a knighthood. Get conventional at the Ricoh Centre. Grab some retail therapy. Then come back for comfort therapy at Earlsdon Park, with freshly prepared food, bursting with flavour from our restaurant, welcoming and spacious rooms, and an extra cosy bed.Show More

Beautifully kept Hotel in a wonderful historic building. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is delicious and well presented. A special mention to Jannice, Conor, Lisa, Tanya and others for the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. I've always seen the Hotel as a home from home.

We were in Coventry for the FA cup against our club, Maidstone. It was arranged with three staff, that as long as people were in the bar, it would remain open until at least midnight. We got back about 11.05, with people still drinking, with at least 10 other fans. The night manager, refused to serve us because he didn't feel like. Not only did he spoil our night, he cost Premier Inns a considerable amount of revenue. It has always been my understanding over the last 40 years of staying in hotels that we are residents and can have a late drink. I have been staying in Premier Inn hotels for at least 20 years, drunk way past midnight and never a problem. This spoilt a great occasion, and I will review any decision to stay in Premier Inn again, thanks to this lazy boy.

This is my second time returning to this location. All the staff are consistently delivering a very warm welcome and go above & beyond to assist with any queries. The room was clean, bed & pillow exceptionally comfortable. The location is easy to find and safe. The breakfast has an extensive variety. And the dinner menu, something on it for everyone. I was with 2 children who were spoilt by the staff. Phenomenal customer service, staff deserve a huge thank you as could see they were short staffed and juggling all tasks with a smile whilst working hard to assist all guests.

As a Premier Inn customer of more years I can count, I'm disappointed to say I had an absolutely awful stay at this hotel last week, and the whole chain have lost all future business from me as a result. I would actually go as far as to say I did not feel safe in this hotel. I was booked in for five nights but left after one. When I was asked to review it, I called Customer Services to tell them about my experience - which was met with a really unsatisfactory response that's led me to review in writing just to warn others what awaits at this hotel. On arrival just before 10pm I was told "hope you don't mind lifts" because no stair would be available during my stay due to (desperately needed) refurbishment works... I didn't sleep well, feeling pretty anxious about lack of an adequate escape route in the event of a fire and I plan to report this to the HSE because it's just not safe. The whole hotel smelled dirty. The corridor walls and floor were grubby with ingrained dirt. My room wasn't clean with greasy looking smears above the headboard, black hairs on my pillow and the bathroom reeked of smoke. This wasn't just a cleaning issue - the whole place is just inherently filthy and past its acceptable life as a place Premier Inn can legitimately charge people to stay - which is obviously why the refurb is taking place. Why they haven't had the good sense to just shut up shop while they do this is beyond me. This place should be closed to the public until it's both safe and clean for customers. At present it is neither. I've been loyal to this chain and I feel pretty let down by this whole experience, including the very poor response from Customer Services who refunded me for breakfasts I did not eat, but refused a refund for any element of the overnight stays. So I paid for five nights in an unsafe hotel I did not stay in. I won't ever book with this chain again.

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room and other areas. Tea & coffee facilities in the room. Very good breakfast with a long open period to decide what time suits you to eat. Good location for the town centre.

Helpful staff, good location near the city centre. Eating places nearby. Rooms are clean and up to Premier Inns usual standard. Bed was comfortable and location was quite for a good night's sleep. Bar had a reasonable range of drinks. Breakfast was fine.

Unfortunately I am writing to you with regard to a disappointing series of events which took place during my stay at your hotel during my recent stay - 03 - 07 January 2024 at the Premier Inn, Earlsdon Park, Coventry. It started with the email I received from Premier Inn regarding my stay dated 27.12.23.   We had booked a twin room, (I was staying in with my son), however there was no mention of this made on the reminder email so I wrote to you asking for confirmation of a twin room - Please see the email below. I received no confirmation from you. On my arrival at the hotel I reminded the guy at reception that we had requested a twin room, I think his name was XXXXXX, he joked about the email I had sent asking for confirmation of a twin room - Please see the last line my email below.  I took the fact that he had commented on the email as an acknowledgment that the hotel had seen the email, however, had failed to answer as requested and that he understood our request for a twin room.   I was therefore very surprised that when I went to Room XXX I discovered that in fact it was a double room.  Returning to reception I told the same person that the room was a double not a twin, he corrected the 'mistake' and assigned me a twin room - Room XXX.   That evening I discovered there were only two hangers available and there was no hot water in the wash hand basin in the bathroom, the shower worked perfectly.  The following day, 04.07.24; I went to the office where I requested another four hangers and informed the lady who answered the door about the lack of hot water - she wrote everything down on a post-it note.  When I returned in the evening I was pleased to see the hangers,  however, there was still no hot water. I had to leave early on Friday morning, 05.01.24, so I wasn't able to inform anyone regarding the hot water situation  but I hoped that when I returned in the evening the situation would be remedied - It was not. Please note that on each occasion I left the tap running for some time to check for hot water, the shower produced hot water almost immediately. At this point I was completely fed up with the situation.   On Saturday afternoon when I left for an appointment I went to the office, I told the person in the office, I think it was the same person who had originally booked me in, that it was now too late to fix the tap and not to bother as I was leaving early on Sunday morning adding that it was a very embarrassing for the hotel

Good location right next door to Theatre and car park. Quiet and comfortable room but had problems with heating system that insisted on warming the room to a very stuffy 29C in December. Staff did manage to switch on the cooling system when we told them what was happenng. Very good breakfast and friendly staff but got billed twice for the same breakfast - still trying to get a refund.

Got stuck in the lift , this was after there was previous problems and they had not shut it off when there should have . We were then told that we would have to wait for “ up to 1 hour ” until someone could come and fix the lift .
