Auch wenn ich bei den vielen schlechten Bewertungen skeptisch war, bin ich nach vielen Jahren wieder in den „Grünen Baum“ eingekehrt. Nah an der Messe, ein sehr schöner Gasthof mit Hotel im Herzen von Nürnberg Kornburg. Vor 20 Jahren war ich das allererste Mal hier: Familie Blödel, eine tolle Familie, die für die Gastronomie lebt: hier kommt der Chef noch an den Tisch und begrüßt alle Gäste persönlich. Früher der Senior, heute macht das genauso herzlich Christian Blödel, der Junior Chef! Die Kellner sind immernoch altbekannte Gesichter! Alle sehr freundlich und gastfreundlich. Und das Essen: Schäuferle vom Feinsten, Holzfäller Steak oder auch Karpfen, hier gibt es leckere fränkische Spezialitäten zum kleinen Preis. Wir freuen uns auf die nächsten zwei Tage und wir kommen wieder!!!! Danke, Familie Blödel

Zimmer alt. Im ganzen Haus riecht es nach Räucherofen und Wurstwaren. Heizungen funktionieren nicht. Zimmer sehr abgewohnt. Sehr hellhörig. Das Telefon der Rezeption hört man immer (auch nachts) bis in den zweiten Stock. Frühstück unterirdisch. Trockene Brötchen und definitiv nichtmehr stand der Technik. Ich komme nichtmehr wieder

Wir waren am 27.11.22 mit Freunden(insgesamt 5) am Abend zum Essen. Die Bestellung dauerte 1,5 Stunden, dann kamen die Essen so zeitversetzt das die ersten drei Essen so zeitversetzt kamen das jeder alleine essen musste und die beiden letzten Essen, Holzhacker Steak kamen erst als wir uns beschwerten und die waren ein Desaster. Die Kartoffeln waren keine Bratkartoffeln (nur Pellkartoffeln in Butter geschwenkt) und die Röstzwiebeln waren lasch und hatten nichts mit Röstzwiebeln zu tun. Das war nichts, auch wenn der nette Service zur Entscheidung einen Schnaps ausgab. Hierher kommen wir nicht mehr und werden keine Empfehlung aussprechen.
