It is the so big hotel. Room also. We are the breakfast here. The buffet is good.

The approach road to the hotel is not very good. The rooms are scantly furnished as compared the size of the rooms. The heating is required sometimes. There is quite a variety of veg and non-veg dishes some of which you may find to your taste. The staff is hospitable.

Wow what an amazing place specially thanks to mr. Sudeera general manager and the restaurant bar manager mr santhush. I travel every month around the srilanka the foods was so fresh and the staff is very friendly an have very beautiful view. Finally a very special thanks to mr Ruwan GM of Araliya hotels

I recently stayed at Hotel Red Araliya and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Good location in the center of Nuwara Eliya. Hotel rooms, facilities, and services are great. One of the few hotels in Sri Lanka which has good Indian food. Special thanks to Chamith Yashinka and Nimesh Dilshan for their excellent service.

We stayed (2 adults and 1 teen) in Araliya Red for 3 days in May. We felt the hotel should be rated only 3 star for the following reasons. Booking sites star ratings are so far from reality. 1) Hospitality: some folks are really good, but there are very clueless front desk people there as well. Our daughter lost an earing in the hotel and I called front desk to report this as well went there in person so that they will inform other departments. But the next day when I inquired at the front desk they had no clue about the incident. This left a very bad experience for us. 2) Room was spacious and very good view as well but the bed and linen (very average) is not for a 4 star hotel. 3) Food: We had breakfast and dinner on all 3 days here. The spread is decent enough. But food quality has to improve a lot. The hot station offerings were either undercooked or overcooked or not that palatable. Even some of the dishes in the buffet was too salty. The worst part was we informed their chief sous chef on the first day and subsequently as well about the quality of the food (salty, undercooked). But they made no effort to correct or give us better food. So overall we felt this hotel can be rated 3 star but no way close to anything else.
