Jetwing St Andrew's

This hotel is trading on a past reputation which if it was ever justified is long gone. Superficially it looks old and charming, but stay here and you can experience very slow service in the restaurant, mediocre food, but worst of all the paper thin walls that mean you can hear all the crying babies, screaming kids and TVs and conversations from all your neighbours. If you did manage to get to sleep don’t worry you will be woken in the middle of the night by the amplified Fajr call to prayer from the nearby mosque. There is also black mold in the bathroom no doubt because there is no extractor or other form of ventilation to the bathroom. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

This is an amazing hotel! Beautiful rooms, great view, unique experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. A very special thanks to Visnhu who took us on a bicycle tour true Nuwara Eliya and the tea fields. You are an absolute amazing person! 😍

March 29th visit should be my 10th visit to this amaizing Hotel. Check In to check out is you will not regret a thing. So many things to say about this place, I actually do not have words. I go to st.andrews with my family for all my personal special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, special holidays and when I need to relax. Every time I went there, it was a home in a different world to me and my family. Starting from kelum and the team at front office till the end was so friendly and helpful. At the bar Inoj and his team will always give some amaizing cocktails and some personalized drinks with amaizing bar skills. At the restaurant Ananda with his team including Arshad, Umesh,Namal with amaizing hospitality skills has always made me come again and again. I never feel like going anywhere else for holiday. And most importantly, the amaizing little England atmosphere created by ***an and the fardening crew is out of this world. I would like to say that St.Andrews has the most beautiful landscaping in srilankan hotels. Also ***an and his team grows amaizing healthy veggies and herbs for the kitchen. Not forgetting to mention the cleanliness of the hotel. Hats off to the housekeeping team who is always very helpful for all my needs. Finally the food, even the rice they use is custom grown for jetwing in their own fields. Amaizing skills of the chefs is blessed. The mouth watering food will always amaize u. Thank you team St.Andrews for making all my memories mesmerizing and unforgettable.

Jetwing St. Andrews is old school. Unlike almost every other Jetwing Hotel we've stayed in, this property has old school charm. Sure, it doesn't have the pomp and glamour of say, the Grand, but that doesn't really matter. The property is as it is - it gives you a no fuss experience of luxury. It's excellent.

Last weekend Me & My staff stayed one night @ Jetwing st. Andrews N’Eliya. We are a group of 50. simply can say everything perfect and excellent during our stay @ st. Andrews. Even though it is very close to Nuwara Eliya city center, location is very calm & quiet and free from urban disturbances. From the moment we entered to the premises through main entrance upto the reception lobby of the hotel, landscaping is truly amazing and full with lush greenery. We were warmly welcome by the reception. Our experience inside the hotel also highly delightful similar to the first impression at the entrance and check in. Rooms are nicely arranged and housekeepings are perfect. The natural fire place with comfortable sofa is one of the most attractive place in the cool climate of N’Eliya. The Asian restuarent face to open court yard is very relaxing and nice arrangement. We had full board meal plan and all buffet spreads are perfect and delicious. As we are a big group, on our pre request, the hotel had well organized customized pre arrangement of an evening gathering for us. Special thanks goes to captain Umesh who gave us a wonderful service and coordination on this regard. Umesh and all staff were very receptive and friendly to us. Overall nothing to comment on negative and we are so impress and delighted.Hoping to stay there with my family too in near future.that is the best guarantee I can give on my recommendations about St. Andrews by Jetwing.

The hotel with tradition and charm. Nicely appointed rooms, rich with history. Beautiful lawn and gardens, an ehxcellent setting. The food, both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Very courteous and friendly staff. They have a snooker table which is over 100 years old. Loved the stay.
