It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. Very good British service.

As soon as I entered the door, I was given a family room with 2 beds. After communicating with me, the staff had an attitude of being dissatisfied even though they gave you a better room. They showed me the originally booked room and I felt it was really not worth the price. . It is recommended that it is more convenient to stay in Nuvo.

Nice hotel in a colonial style with very beautiful gardens. The room was simple but spacious and the staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast buffet was good, but the variety of food was limited. One aspect that should be improved is the water pressure in the bathroom since it was very low. Overall, it is a nice hotel for a short stay in the Sri Lankan mountains.

British styled cottage. Beautiful is an understatement. Awesome weather, scenic. Tallest place in Sri Lanka. Lake is nearby, Ashok Vatika, Sita Amman temple, botonical garden and city shopping is worth the visit to Srilanka. Do carry a light sweater. Try adding this city when you plan to visit Sri Lanka

We had a terrible experience in this hotel. When we went it was raining heavily. V stayed for one night only. The next day morn water was not coming in tap in our floor . We booked 3 rooms in all 3 no water . It took more than two hrs to resolve it. Since we couldn't go out for a walk in the morn we asked to open the gym. They said they can open by 8am only but with in ten mins they opened it for english people. When we asked no proper response. The only positive thing is the chef and the food . Front desk people are horrible.

The colonial hotel in a garden setting is charming. The hospitality is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. There are very tasty food choices from both Sri Lankan and Western cuisine with a chef cooking fresh speciality dishes e.g. omelette for breakfast and Kothu Roti for dinner. It was a great experience.

AWSOME view, take cottages with view- room no.34/35/36.- they have other rooms, without much view, they have indoor games,-Smileing staff- nice spread for Veg and Jain meals- u have to informin advance, away from the market.- no pool, no ac in rooms.- glass room to seat an enjoy, best part is garden with many variety for flowers, they have chairs & swng in garden.nothing for Kids activity.

Stayed for 2 nights with family including 2 teenage kids. The rooms were reasonably comfortable. The in-house restaurant staff was courteous enough to meet our vegetarian food preferences. We were to check out at 6 am for the next venue. The restaurant manager took extra efforts to get the take away breakfast ready by 5.45 am. Nicely maintained property with a club house. Recommended!!
