The hotel was very clean but the restaurant service was not the best. Perhaps it is because I stayed there during the triathlon… very busy period

The hotel environment is good, but the carpet in the room is damp and has some smell. I hope it can be improved. The breakfast is also quite rich. There are some menus for lunch and dinner, but it is too little. I hope to add more seafood, pasta and pizza. Category

The location is stunning and some of the historical architecture/features that remain are nice however it's a hotel that is in need of a breath of life. The staff are friendly but lack urgency. There was a conference running as well as a triathlon being prepared for during our visit there, it's possible that this affected the mood/function of the staff. The restaurant was very average, especially considering the prices. The amenities such as the pool are clean and well maintained - but very dated, just like the hotel itself. There is a bit of a retro charm to it all. Overall I think that it's fine - just fine, but for the price of a room or a meal it really should be doing a lot more to ensure that visitors and guest feel they're getting their money's worth,

Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The food was on point and fresh. The rooms and linen were super clean and had a nice view of the legendary dam.

The pillows and the bed wooow. It was so refreshing and therapeutic. First the walk to World's view, woow a full package of exercises- this is not for the faint-hearted. The Nyangombe falls- mighty rushing waters are therapeutic. The pit structures an esthetic archeological work.

Worst customer service. Hot water doesn’t work. Over priced. Drinks and food are expensive and not worth the price. Staff attitude is terrible. Staff are not helpful or accommodating. So disappointed in this place! Photo below is dinner at 25$ Absolutely terrible!

Rundown hotel, we had a room with a view, but the rooms are a bitt tattered. The hotel needs a renovation. Restaurant is really bad! Food is overpriced, waiters have no clue what to do, atmosphere is awful and the overall experience is terrible. Cold steak, which was reheated and then well done. Average supermarket wines go for 35 USD, food is tasteless and lacked every finesse. There are apparently very nice small lodges in the neighborhood, go there. This is overpriced, rundown and the food is not good.
