This spacious and inviting retreat offers a comfortable stay for up to 8 guests. The primary bedroom has a king bed. Two additional bedrooms are equipped with queen beds. The fourth offers two twin beds. Soothe your senses in our inviting hot tub or by the fire pit. We offer an EV charger to charge your vehicle. Unfortunately we do not allow pets. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The patio provides a BBQ grill and Pizza oven and the spacious living area provides a cozy atmosphere. The space The Coal Miners Casa is a family oriented retreat. The history of this area is played out in the décor and authentic coal miner memorabilia. The game room provides room for the kids and kids at heart to play and have fun. Off of the game room is a work station area that has that mine kind of feel with a standing work station desk. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all typical amenities including a cute coffee bar with flavored syrups, a starter set of K-cups and sweeteners. When it’s time to pick what’s for dinner, the kids will love a pizza made on the pizza oven or hot dogs on the grill. At the end of a day of adventure in the New River Gorge National Park, soothe your aching muscles in the hot tub or in one of the hammocks down in Hammock Hollow. Then its time to light the fire in the fire pit and make some family memories making s’mores and reliving the days events together. Life is about experiences and making memories and we know The Coal Miners Casa will help your family make memories you’ll talk about for years to come. Guest access You have access to all parts of the house except the garage and two closets used for storage. Other things to note Must be 25+ years old to book. This is not an area for partying, but is a great place to enjoy family time. House rules You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect. We would appreciate if any dirty dishes would be placed in the dishwasher the the dishwasher started. You do not need to unload the dishwasher but starting it will help us get ready for our next 5 star guest. Please strip all sheets and pillow cases and place in the laundry room.
