Oamaru Holmes Hill Hotels

Because I wanted to see the little penguin 🐧, I had to stay in Omalu for one night and finally chose to punch in the first hotel on the list of this homestay. I really like the decoration style of the hotel, there are many Chinese elements in it, because the owner has stayed in different cities in China for more than 20 years. The most surprising thing is that I actually ate the only Chinese meal in the South Island Tour for breakfast. 😄👍

The hotel was renovated from a historic building. The soft furnishings are a way of turning waste into treasure, giving old objects new functions and also serving as decorations. It is very tasteful. If you are familiar with sports in New Zealand, I believe you will be interested in the hotel's collection. The hotel is in a good location, at the north end of Thames Street, the main street of 600 meters. There is a supermarket next to it. Parking is available on the street, free on weekends. The room is more than 3 meters high, so even if the room is not big, it does not feel cramped. The photo shows the distinctive buildings around the hotel.

The hotel environment is particularly good, the proprietress is a Chinese sister, especially good, give me milk, it is very quiet, and very close to the scenic spot, there is a McDonald's and gas station ten meters away, there is a fish and chips 100 meters away, and the Chinese are also delicious but not friendly. In short, the hotel is very clean, the location is good, convenient and fast, parking is very convenient

The hotel's architecture and retro, the internal water hardware is also very retro, even the switch of the lights are very retro, very flavorful, people who want to experience different styles are welcome to try. There are two bathrooms, the space is quite large, and there are shampoo and shower gel available. There is no place to cook in the kitchen, just a simple toast and a hot water bottle.

Very good motels in the town. Everything was completed and very comfortable. The owner was quite friendly . We got the ground floor room, and the car was Juz parked infront of the room. Super convenient.

The landlord is very nice. When you check in with the key, you will receive a small bottle of milk~ This time I booked a cabin room, number 19. It was very nice. I felt like I had a small home in New Zealand~ Parking is available at the door, and each parking space is marked with a room number, one parking space for each family. The room facilities are a little bit old, the exhaust fan is a bit loud, the heater in the bedroom seems to be broken, and finally the heater in the living room is turned on. Since I was in a hurry, I didn’t take any photos. There are McDonald’s, KFC, etc. nearby. When you go out of the hotel and turn a corner, you will reach the main road of the town.

The place is spacious and the location is excellent. It is right next to the main road. After watching the little penguins, you can buy fast food nearby before returning to the hostel. The room is spacious and there are staff on duty at night. You can park at the door, which is very convenient

Wooden house, walk up and sloppy, have to be light. There is no separate toilet, about two or three houses share a toilet plus a bathroom. The facilities in the house are cute and have a heart. Check in according to the password, it will be troublesome to miss the email. . Anyway, I was looking for a long time. The single bed is very narrow and foreign countries are the same.

The front desk is a Chinese male, the service is warm, the room is clean and sanitary, it is a bungalow, and there is no noise from the second floor. It is very close to the place where you can see penguins. There is a panda restaurant not far away that is very delicious. It is great to take it back to the hotel to eat.
