We spent one night here for an event. The room smelled musty of old furniture. The room furnishings breathed the charm of the 80s. There were 2 steps to climb to the bathroom. The door didn't close properly and only closed forcefully. The smell in the room and the lack of air conditioning with very high outside temperatures unfortunately made it necessary to sleep with the window open, unfortunately facing the street. Unfortunately the room didn't have any blackout curtains, as you would expect with 4 stars, so the night was quite short. Breakfast was good but absolutely average and was set up in the middle of the hallway so you were constantly bumping into other guests and staff. The staff in general were nice and tried hard, but especially in the catering department they made an untrained and insecure impression. All in all, this was a somewhat comfortable stay and we seriously wonder why this hotel is allowed to have 4 stars. A maximum of three would be appropriate.
