It is one of the accommodations that I really like From the friendly welcome of the receptionist and the restaurant for dinner at It tastes delicious. And there was a waiter named Thomas who welcomed us well. The accommodation has a clear, beautiful view of the city. I recommend this place. Inexpensive and worth it

AMAZING service! Thanks to Leonard (who helped us with everything from feeling welcomed, answering a billion questions from us, fixed all we needed to get around, managed to compile a superb whisky sour, etc etc) we would DEFINITELY come back to exactly this hotel. Calm place, but not boring. Great view! Smooth transit to the slopes with the private shuttle.

Hotel-Restaurant Bänklialp is a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the single room with a balcony and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sauna/steam room on site, electric hot water kettle in rooms, common ski room with boot dryers in lockers, covered parking, and a good restaurant on site. My room itself was small, but very clean, had a nice view of the valley/mountains, a balcony, and small closet. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only negative is the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5-7 minutes to the train station. But, it was well worth it for the quality of hotel and value. Also, the restaurant is very good, my chicken cordon bleu was one of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.

Looking for a relaxing break in the Swiss Alos, close to the slopes, I found this little gem: a hotel, pretty rustique in the traditional Swiss way! Not far from the heart of Engelberg but far enough to contemplate the sky, see the stars and hear only the heartbeat of nature. Clean, very very clean, with comfortable rooms, not big, just comfy, most with a balcony overviewing the village. Staff, super nice and polite, ready to help and advise: had a 10% discount in my ski rental and anytime I wanted to go skiing they got in the minivan and took me to the resort! The restaurant was also nice, with delicious dishes and a savvy wine list. Not to miss! Only point I would like to note, the breakfast buffet: every day the same, not always fresh fruits available. Would like some variety and some chocolate croissants, please! Overall, a must go!

We were unable to reach the property by phone for 3 hours in late afternoon/ evening regarding our booking, and as a result we had to make another booking at a different property as suggested by ********** customer service. We were promised that ********** would take care of the refund of this booking but ********** keep delaying our refund and shift the blame to this hotel. We are extremely let down and angry with both the property and the ********** customer service team’s lack of honesty and responsibility.
