Cabana Motel

Absolute worst motel I have ever been to. The shower had layers and layers of caulk over mold. The room was tiny and just as dingy as it gets. The whole place was built out of what looked like scrap materials. There were no towels or toiletries. The AC broke or flipped a breaker and there was no attendant the entire time we were there. We checked in at a motel down the street and then that office was empty the rest of the weekend. No one answered the phone or returned our messages. We paid festival prices and ended up sweating through the night and being completely miserable.

Bathroom window frame only 3/4 there one piece obviously ripped out due to mold, mold on walls in bathroom, toilet is almost touching the sink to where you can barely sit. Water takes minutes to get warm in shower. Found old food wrappers at back of dresser(needed to plug stuff in that was unplugged) felt like we slept on rocks due to 90s style box spring mattress. Took an entire day for mini fridge to be cool enough for any drinks or food brought. 2 days in party in hotel room above us ruined last 2 nights due to being loud I til 3:00am both nights workers "said something" only for room above to get rude and eunt their mouths about people complaining. Overall worse hotel experience I've ever had in multiple states and countries

The room wasn’t what I expected as was advertised online. The air conditioner was very loud and there were not enough outlets. The outlets that were available, were oddly placed. The rooms bathroom was up to date and clean, but the room could use some updating. When booking, I was unaware the the pool was oddly located in the parking lot. On a positive note, the staff in the office were very friendly and helpful. The motel was very close to the beach and that was wonderful.

This hotel was complete disgusting they said the room was clean. I don’t think they swept or did anything to actually clean. The floor felt like the whole beach was in that room It just made the bed we didn’t even stay and they won’t give us a refund. We checked in and 30 minutes later left. Just to walk into our room, we walked by many open beer bottles. Lots of cigarettes on the ground lighters everywhere. Our room smelled like cigarettes. Hotel.com won’t even help us get our money back.

BEWARE: I Booked online through **********, the booking says fully refundable until 1-Aug (72 hours before the stay date), I canceled my booking on 20-July (14 days before the planned stay) but never got a refund. my CC was charged 2 nights the moment I booked on 19-July. I called Cabana , they said the refund should come from **********!! the transaction on my credit card clearly states that the funds were deducted by Cabana Motel. ********** said the refund should come from Cabana Hotel. NO REFUND so be VERY CAREFUL

I booked a room for a night , upon arrival my wife and i checked for bed bugs. Less than 30 seconds in, we found an infestation of bed bugs, we went and told the guy at the front desk , he told us he would give us the room next door, it also had bed bugs. He went and seen them for himself. He told us to go we had to go to the kings arms motel to talk to his manager . She told us she couldn't refund our money till she had a exterminator confirm and it would take a few days . We called her a few days later and she said the exterminator said there was no signs of bedbugs. I asked what exterminator she used so i ould confirm myself. She refused to give us the name and hung up on me. Called her back and she refised to talk about it. I do not recommend staying at this place

No fault to the motel but someone was banging on my door from about 12am-1am, so that was not fun. A/c was very loud but kept us cool so im not too upset. Overall wasnt a bad stay but just freaked us out

The place is great for what you pay for. The location is great- just a few minute walk to the beach. We brought our own sheets and pillowcases because other reviews said that there were stains on the ones that were provided. There weren’t many stains but there were some, so we used ours. The main drawback was the lack of outlets in the room. One of the lamps wasn’t plugged in because there weren’t any outlets near it. We had to charge our phones across the room on the dresser. There was only enough space to either have the fridge or the microwave plugged in. In order to use one you had to unplug the other. Then, we had to remember to plug the fridge back in to prevent our food from spoiling. The TV had cable that was fairly low quality and didn’t have a lot of channels. Other than all of that, the room was just what we needed. The AC was nice, and the bed was fairly comfortable. The staff was also super nice and welcoming. Any issue I had, they at least attempted to resolve. My key stopped working and the cleaning ladies let me back into my room, and the person at the front desk swiftly reprogrammed the keys to work again.

I’m glad I only booked for 1 night.! I stayed in room#29 I was soo disappointed that room was so outdated and dirty super old ! The beds were soo uncomfortable & they were really old the mattress had mold very dirty .! The pillow were old with holes & dirty sheets with stains .! I even checkout before my checkout time cause it was soo terrible .! The microwave too was old with mold The location is great close to many things
