We really enjoyed our stay at Ryokan Plum. We were welcomed warmly and got a glass of ice tea because it was so hot. Our room had enough space to put our suitcases and move around in comparison with some hotel rooms we stayed in. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in. Every space was really clean and well taken care of. Thank you for the nice stay.

The landlord and staff are very very nice!! We went to see the fireworks festival that day and didn't have time to check in. We came back very late. The room is very beautiful. It is a standard Japanese-style room with a large area. The room at this price and location is very cost-effective. It is very convenient to go to Hakone and Atami. There are no problems except for the shared bathroom and poor sound insulation, which are common problems of Japanese-style rooms. The room I stayed in did not have curtains. The old house had been beautifully renovated, and the whole family was very satisfied. The tea and coffee were not cheap, and it was great that there were lovely teacups and other items available. I'd like to use it again next time.
