The breakfast service was absolutely horrid. We arrived at 8.30 8 people 5 adults 3 kids and there was no information, just took our room number that was it. We had to ask where do we get a cooked breakfast ect! Then the kids were looking foward to the pancakes for us to be told they are still frozen and will not be defrosted in time. With 3 sad children we asked do you want some toast which they all said yes so went to the basket NO BREAD!! asked the 2 people working and the bread is frozen aswell. So 3 children eating fruit and croisant. We had to ask for apple juice as the container was also empty. There were only 3 familys there so why the staff wasnt checking i dont know! To advertise for an unlimited breakfast with no food is a joke. The portion of cooked breakfast for unlimited is false. All our food was cold and poached eggs were cooked through. To pay £10 per head for breakfast for 8 people was a complete joke.

Staff would not answer my calls all morning and early afternoon, eventually got an answer only to be hung up on within seconds of my query. Tried many attempts to call back and no answer until later in the evening, a different staff member on duty answered and was thankfully helpful. Staff were welcoming on arrival. But very disappointed in the room. I don't expect much from premier inn and I'm easily pleased but the basic cleanliness should be met. The room had a dirty feeling and smell to it, including the corridors. There was a very strong smell of damp in the room which was off-putting, the bathroom stunk of urine & I didn't want to take my shoes off as the carpets and floors seemed they hadn't had a deep clean in years. The room was on the cold side and I had my baby with me, could not get the heating system to warm the room, wall heater wouldn't work which didn't surprise me, it looked very old and rusty also full of balls of dust. As we checked in late at night after a long journey we didn't have time to look elsewhere or rectify the issues so we put our heads down for the 1 night but will not be returning.

Tracy on reception was lovely which made me not rate this place terrible to be honest, cleanliness was almost out the window! Marks on toilet seat, desk lamp, and hand soap, no hot chocolate at breakfast, beds were clean and comfortable but won't be staying at this hotel again, dated gruby rooms

Stayed at this hotel a few times with work and always been great, 1st time I had stayed at the hotel for dinner Jemma was great specially friendly and professional. Took my order quickly and not long after the food was served and the staff could do enough to help.

Gemma was very welcoming professional and polite her service was second to none zheveva the reception was also amazing welcomed us with a smile. Thank you for the great experience it was amazing and will be back to stay again highly recommended food was also great

Jamie Lee has been a great host and helpful and informative, a buffet breakfast would be much better for this place with the type of trade that passes by, menu limited due to stock issue, management issue nothing else really. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and great shower pressure and hot water.

Check in was quickly taken care of. Gemma on reception was extremely welcoming and informative, regarding any questions we had. Breakfast service was great and the waitress was very bubbly and had a great attitude. Overall great 2 day stay at this hotel branch. Would definitely stay again!
