We stayed at Chateau d'Olmet for a long weekend break. It was the second time we have stayed here. The setting is beautiful with stunning views. The room was large with a comfortable sitting area, the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. Everything was spotlessly clean. A unique feature which we loved was the shared kitchen located in a beautiful renovated barn. We used it to prepare our own evening meal on one occasion. A good breakfast was also provided each day, with fresh pastries etc, which was lovely. We also love the area, the splendid hosts, and we can't wait to return.

This is a difficult review to write - we booked it because of the glowing reviews but we found it - simply ok - nothing to write home about. The lodging is located up a mountain, replete with winding curves, above Lodeve - not a drive one would want to do in the dark and dinner is offered only one or two nights a week. Ah, the dinner - not something we would recommend - likely the worst we had in France -- basic salad, pasta with tomato sauce, can't even recall the desert as it was not at all memorable - for approx 35E each with added costs for wine. The room were fine - large and generous; the pool - a lap pool - was ok - but I'm afraid we expected much more.

Eric and Steven take really care of you as guests! Starting with a served(!) breakfast after a long and nice sleep in their very well decorated bedrooms. Nice garden and warm ( for me at least) pool with a cosy dining table in a sunny corner ! 15 min away from the small city Lodève! Lots of things to look at in the surroundings and only 1 hr drive to the sea! Thanks !!

The chateau is a historic building with simple, elegant rooms in a serene hamlet on a hilltop with stunning views. We had a most comfortable bed with beautiful linen. A delicious breakfast was served next to the pool in the spacious and quiet courtyard, and a well-equipped kitchen was always at our disposal. Particular mention should be made of our wonderful and attentive hosts, who succeeded in making our stay extremely pleasant. Great guys!

Cette magnifique chambre d’hôtes est parfaitement placée et superbement décorée, située dans une ancienne demeure en haut d’un hameau de caractère. J’ai apprécié chaque moment de mon séjour, aussi bien la piscine, le jardin, le petit déjeuner copieux et complet, le repas proposé deux soir par semaine, la sympathie des hôtes Éric et Steven, les environs et bien sûr le confort de la chambre. Je retiens cette adresse unique pour un autre séjour dans ce cadre enchanteur.
