Subic Park Hotel

Good location and friendly staff. My go-to hotel every time I am in Subic.

I would like to commend Lee in the Restaurant for being so friendly and giving me an excellent customer service also the guy in Front Office he is really friendly, knowledgeable in his job. HOWEVER 1. The property has poor amenities. For instance, no bottled water but instead they prepared an empty container for you to get the water in the restaurant in water dispenser as really like a dorm or bed space set up or hostel set up. 2. You do not have toothbrush and toothpaste 3. No slipper 4. No floor towels anywhere. I was thinking if Subic Park Hotel is now a hostel but when I checked it is a Hotel with a hostel set up. There are some properties inside Subic with cheaper prices but with complete amenities. Just saying. Kudos to employees here by the way. They are delivering excellent customer service even the property has poor service.

Room configuration and amenities was suitable to our needs. Food was good, cost effective and resto staff friendly and accomodating. Bathrooms shower doubles as a bath which is good for kids. Hotel has no lifts and has an ‘old’, yet clean feel to it so Unfortunately, 3/4 nights sleep of our stay was affected by noisy people in other rooms till late. Tricky trying to settle young children. Suggest staff walk the floors and report noisy guests to management/security guard. Hotel is not well serviced by public transport. No tricycles or taxis permitted to be stationed in freeport zone, hence you’re at the mercy of unmetered taxis charging a pick up fee (basically doubling the charge). Can walk to some immediate local restos and Ayala mall is a good 20 minutes away, everything else would need a taxi. Kurt was a clear standout of the reception staff. We felt other reception staff lacked the service standards and personable attention most travellers need and look for. With a few service improvements and attention to guests this hotel could be worth a return visit, although is situated in an awkward part of town for tourists.

AC leaked, noisey thru out the night. Restaurant didn't have enough staff was allowing customers to order at the counter which prevented staff to take care of people sitting to give there order.

Nice, well-maintained property by the water in Subic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Khanna, the owner, is a hands-on type of manager who can be seen in the property doing various work and chores and always greeting guests with a friendly smile.
