Mese Hotel & Apartments

This hotel is 1 up from a hostel it’s cold dirty and the breakfast is awful the room has not been cleaned in 6 days crockery was dirty on arrival I had to clean them soaked first in boiling water and washing up liquid no kettle just 2 pots you place one on top of the other. We found cockroaches building work by dining room and most rooms taken by workmen about 6 to a room only 1 bedroom

We never actually spent the night here, we was staying at aes club just down the road but had a late checkout and having our daughter with us it wasn't very convenient to be without a room from 12. We popped in to see the owner and explained the situation and gave us a great price to use the room for the day. The rooms are very basic but clean. Yes they ain't modern but personally I would be happy to stay here for my break. Beds was comfy, shower was lovely, Pool was fantastic. A big thank you to the lovely owner.

Good Walls freshly painted, bathroom fairly modern (although shower fitting was broken and I had to hand hold shower - water was hot though), Bed was more comfortable than expected and sheets were clean on arrival. There were sufficient hangers in the wardrobe. Indifferent The furniture was very cheap. wardrobe painted chipboard and a a cheap painted bedside table. Poor No housekeeping at all during my week stay. My bed wasn't even straightened, no sign anyone had even been in room. Only half a toilet roll on my arrival, when this ran out it wasn't replaced. On arrival, I was shown to my room, the following morning I was asked for my passport. No one spoke to me again during my stay. I had to find someone to enable me to leave my key and check out. None of this worried me as I have been to the area many times BUT as a single pensioner, it was not a place I felt cared about or welcome) Bad I took brand new earbuds (luckily only cheap ones) these disappeared from my room, despite no one doing any cleaning. I didn't report this as I have no evidence. I do know I took them, I do know they were in the room, I do know they disappeared. I have no admissable evidence as to who took them. I only know that they disappeared. Bad The door to the balcony was not lockable - despite keys in the lock, the door would not lock. Luckily I have stayed in this area many times and will continue to do so. The majority of Turkish people have shown me nothing but kindness and caring. I lover this area and will revisit as frequently as I am able. I CAN NOT however recommend this hotel. I wish I could. The price, the location and the comfortable bed makes it a great base but to be as unregarded as I was, along with no housekeeping and earbuds going missing means this place is a definite no no for recomendations.

If you are thinking of booking here, don't.......just don't. There are no words to describe how disgusting it is. We're shown 2 rooms that had dirty sheets, pillows stank and towels looked vile. Nothing had been cleaned. It's cheap for a reason, we were there no more than 20 mins before we walked out. I have checked the location and this is definitely the "hotel"

When I first arrived at the hotel I thought oh NO not another miserable looking unwelcoming place I need to stay in for a week. But to my surprise I was welcomed with a nice young man who helped me with my case to a bright clean room. The room was basic with a clean bed shower and tv. As there were lots of trees and I couldn’t see the pool I asked for another room which wasn’t a problem they changed it as soon as the other room was cleaned. When I went to get a shower it blew the lights but the owner Murat came right away and installed a new one which I thought was very nice. He said any problems To say to him or any of the staff and if they can help they would as I was recovering from two broken arms . I was moved from the first hotel as they were rude unwelcoming and none helpful. I could go on even the lady in the kitchen said to help myself when I wanted coffee. The hotel is off the main road and near the Dolmus to get to oludeniz or into fethiye and a nice walk into Hisaronu. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again thankyou Murat and staff for making my stay a pleasant one.
