Hotel Imperial - Liburnia Reviews

Very big historical hotel in the center of the city. The buffets were very nice. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety and was delicious. The sauna/spa facilities were nice but had a strange smell, nontheless it was very nice to have during rainy hours! Overall a very nice hotel with a good value but a bit run down.

The beautiful Opatija hotel has a perfect location and the staff are very nice. However, perhaps due to its historical status, renovations and repairs are not easily possible, as there were many damaged areas throughout the hotel, which is quite a pity, especially the balcony of our room – it was truly in terrible condition! By the way, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the sauna looked promising, but we didn't have time to try it. When booking, check if there are any cruise ship passengers disembarking on your check-in date. I recommend booking dinner directly at the hotel, otherwise you might end up with a "dinner refugee" 😂

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, the hotel makes an impression, the service is very nice, the rooms are clean, but on the other hand there are a few minuses: - the air conditioning in the room stank, it was unbearable without an open window - we had booked dinner but it turned out that drinks are not included in the price and are paid separately (seriously, even still water is paid extra! ) - from 6/7 am you can hear the room service from the corridor

Everything was great, right in the center and excellent staff.
