Lovely resort hotel at Disneyworld. We visited for 7 nights on our first ever trip to Disney. The hotel is lovely, and is really a resort rather than just a hotel as it’s so large. We stayed in the Trinidad part of the resort, which is about a 15 min walk from the main centre. The resort is nice, rooms were immaculately clean and very well maintained. We had a 5 sleeper room, so this included one double bed, one pull down double and a pull down single. There’s quite a bit of storage space and there was an iron and ironing board, decent hairdryer, toiletries, extra pillow and a blanket, small fridge, safe and a coffee maker (we couldn’t work out how to use it though!) The room we were in wasn’t particularly big, but it provided what we needed, and we were only in it really to sleep and get changed etc. Caribbean Beach was great for what we needed – the resort is quite spread out, but if you don’t mind walking, it’s really pleasant, and there is a bus actually runs round the resort if you want to wait for it. In terms of getting to the parks, we found the transport system excellent - the skyliner is brilliant. We loved it. Buses also good and we never had to wait for more than a few minutes for one. Only slight downside was that the main resort pool was being renovated, but it wasn’t an issue for us as we just used the pool near our block. We got coffee and drinks in our pre-paid refillable mugs from the spyglass grill every day. We also used the washing/laundry room at the end of our visit which was so helpful! The rooms themselves are not what I’d call luxurious, but they are well planned, pleasantly devorated and absolutely pristine.
