The shower temperature would not adjust only scolding. Found a water bottle between our bed and the nightstand was not ours.
Other than that it was excellent and we will be back.

The location is good for going to Universal Studios. There are frequent shuttles and early admissions, so it's good. It's a bit old, but it's good for creating a Universal atmosphere.

Stayed 4 nights to visit Universal Studios.

It took about 5 minutes to go to Universal Studios by shuttle bus, and after getting off the shuttle bus, you have to walk through City Walk and walk about 10 minutes to the entrance of Universal Studios. The room was also well-maintained and tidy, but the heating did not work well in the cold weather in the room I stayed in. The only complaint I had was the number of buses during peak time to get to HHN. We got outside with about 45 min to spare and barely made it for the early entry. Otherwise a great stay and we will return. This was our 2nd stay.

Hey are doing renovations that block off areas that make it hard to get to the lobby from building 8. The walls had dirt and grime on them and just kind of needs to be updated.

Please note the following:
The check-in process was smooth and the individual who checked us in was very kind.
The room was ok. Sheets were thin and pillows were worn. Towels were also old (not used just very old and thin.)
There were small black hairs on the shower wall.
We were not informed of the renovations to the pool until we were checked in.
Someone gently knocked on and then opened our door with a key at 8:30am. They did not announce who they were before opening the door (perhaps housekeeping) and this was alarming on many levels.
It scared me and my family which includes a young child.
Whomever was gently knocking opened the door but left after we said “hello?” and they never acknowledged who they were.
We were also required to pay for parking even with a handicap pass.
