Lotus Boutique Inn and Suites

The location of this property is very convenient. It is close to shopping and good restaurants. Overall, I was disappointed in the property. It looks much nicer in the photos. The pool area was nice and clean, very nice directly on the ocean. That being said, the hot tub was out of service. It was fixed but the water remained cold The pool was very cold. I expected it to be heated. The room location was good but the room itself was disappointing. Upon entering there were cobwebs on the headboard, the lampshade was all cracked with one lightbulb out. Walls had all kinds of unpainted scrapes. Mattresses were not comfortable and pillows were awful. Linens were nice. Water pressure in the shower was dismal! Nice fixtures but no pressure. I could barely rinse out shampoo in my hair! I do have to say, it was nice and quiet and the property grounds were kept clean. Coffee station in the lobby area was great. To conclude, pool area ,other than hottub, was the best part of our stay. I can't say I would come back due to room conditions. They really need to update. We paid over $200 for our last night there, which is very overpriced for a room in that condition.

The rates were higher because it was during a music festival, which I don’t mind. But when I pay higher rates I expect to at least have a hotel stay that doesn’t involve the loss of electricity for over 12 hours. I was comped for 50% of the cost of one night’s stay even though I lost all the food I brought with me due to the fridge not working because of the loss of electricity, not to mention being without ac in Florida, and not even having a way to vent the room without having the door wide open since the only window doesn’t open. I can overlook things like the property not being pristine since a lot of the beachside hotels in the area are similar in their wear and tear, but I can’t overlook how not one person in the staff even acknowledged the power outage, and probably wouldn’t have offered any compensation had I not brought it up. The pool area was nice and matched the description in the pictures.

Beds were very uncomfortable, bed sheets and pillow cover were yellow, sink drain was leaking, shower was dirty and door did not lock. Beach view was nice but would not recommend.

The beach view is excellent, not having power for an entire day is not. Staff provided no assistance when the entire building had no power, while it may have been out of their control did not offer candles or anything else just told visitors to wait longer.

Friendly helpful staff. Not the fanciest but great for the price. Nice pool and hot tub right on the beach. Not a big breakfast (they do have coffee machine thats always on. Fruit, yogurt, muffins and juice options.) Plenty of nice restaurants and shops close by. One of my go to hotels when visiting Ormond. Thank you again for the great stay!

Staff was great. Room was ok. It needed to be updated/repaired. Bathroom door had quite a bit of water damage, paint was peeling in various places around the room. We didn't have a deadbolt to our door. The parking lot is VERY small and not easy to maneuver. With that said, the fact that it's right on the beach and has a pool, it was a great vacation for my husband and I.

The view was amazing they have beach access. Rooms are clean. Have a hot tub didnt get a chance to enjoy, wish the pool would be heated as it was a little chilly. The view for the money was amazing got to se the sunrise right from the balcony. Do recommend.

Beach veiw was amazing. Mattress was hard but worth the view. Was hoping for a little more options for breakfast. Definitely worth the price and maybe back next year.

Definitely call ahead to make sure amenities are working. Jacuzzi was not working. Staff was friendly and helpful even at late hours. Property is decent needs some updates an attention to little details. Beach view was amazing but gate to beach was not very secure a while I was in the jacuzzi other people were in there also saying they were not staying there but people knew it was a lax place. Overall I think it’s worth what I paid and would stay again. No shade on property and they did not have any umbrellas out. As well in the pictures they had small day bed areas and they did not have any day beds. Room was decent smelled clean and beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants and shops.
