We were here for two nights. We were really looking forward to the property as after searching for a lot of cave hotels, we only liked the rooms of this property. But the experience was totally opposite of what we had hoped for. There were multiple issues. A) We reached the hotel around 1pm after taking an early morning flight from Istanbul. We had been up since 6am and really wished to freshen up and head out. As soon as we reached, the staff greeted us warmly. As we had enquired about the tours, the staff and the manager sat us down to tell the details of the same. They were very pushy on the tours as why we should book through them and if we book from outside we would be cheated, took almost 30 mins when we finally had to say if we can head to the room and decide. We had also booked for the hot air balloon ride through them for €250 per person on 2nd June (more than one month in advance from our check-in date). Since they were so pushy, we didn't like the treatment. We decided to do our own research and learnt whatever they had quoted us was 30-35% more than what was available online. We do understand that the hotel prices are more than what the locals provide but: 1. We believe the hotel would work out the best for us 2. Will not be on our nerves to make a decision. We decided to go ahead with the hot air balloon to honour our commitment to them. We didn't book the other tours with them and found similar tours almost 40% cheaper online. Next day we learnt that the fellow people on the same hot air balloon had paid €180 to their hotel, we don't know what we paid that extra amount for. B). We had booked for the King suite room. When we entered the room, it was underwhelming but we were so exhausted that we decided to ignore it. The room was big but was nothing close to the look and feel of a cave room that we were looking forward to. We asked the category of the room and they confirmed it to be the King Suite Room. We saw online but could nowhere find similar pictures on their listings. The King suite room had very different pictures that we had booked. It was only at checkout when we pointed out that the rooms were different, at first they said it was the same room. When we insisted on showing the pictures of their listings, they happily said we had upgraded you free of cost to a better room! What were the lies for? Why did they not inform us when we were checking in and they lied twice when we asked about the room category. C). The manager asked us on the second day if the room had to be cleaned and we said yes. When we came back, half of the things had been done and half were left midway. The carpet was left in the middle, the chairs were left unarranged, water was not refilled, used utensils were not cleared. D). The manager could very well understand and converse in English but he chose to continue talking to his colleague in Turkish when he felt like and then he translated the same for us. It felt as if the manager was someone su
