Apartment Hotel 11 Shinimamiya 3

This hotel is right next to the Nankai Electric Railway exit, and there's an elevator, which is super convenient. However, if you arrive by JR and need an elevator, you'll have to walk a bit from the East Exit, and pushing luggage on the asphalt can be a bit challenging. On our first night, we stayed on the 9th floor. Our balcony was right by the Nankai Electric Railway and JR lines, and the train noise was quite loud. We informed customer service, and since the hotel was fully booked that day, they moved us to an 11th-floor room the next day. The noise was still there, but it was significantly better. I highly recommend requesting a room on the 11th floor or higher when booking. Everything else was great – a washing machine, a small kitchen, and a bathtub were all included and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and they provided down pillows and a down comforter. Overall, aside from the noise issue which you should seriously consider, the room rate and space offer excellent value for money.

The twin room was super spacious, perfect for our family of four to sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The location next to Shin-Imamiya Station is excellent, making it very convenient to access the subway or JR lines. It has kitchen facilities, so we could cook our own meals, and a washing machine for laundry. The shower room was large and clean, making for a very comfortable shower experience. There's a fridge, so we could buy milk and drinks to chill, which was great. There's also a supermarket nearby, which was very convenient for shopping. The big balcony was perfect for drying clothes. What's even better is its proximity to Shinsaibashi Dotonbori, just a few stops away. The city center has amazing night views and countless delicious food options. For a big city like Osaka, the value for money here is unbeatable. It was a super enjoyable stay, and I'd definitely come back! However, since it's right next to the railway, there's a bit of noise at night, so those sensitive to noise should consider this.

The location is super convenient (close to supermarkets, convenience stores, eateries, public transport, and Don Quijote). The bed firmness was just right (though the pillows were a bit flat). The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area (with an exhaust fan). The kitchen comes with utensils (and dish soap). The washing machine capacity is perfect for two people (laundry detergent is provided). I recommend bringing your own toothbrush (the one provided by the hotel was poor quality, my teeth hurt after brushing on the first day). The TV has Netflix and Disney+. I read reviews mentioning train noise before, but honestly, staying for 7 days, I wasn't woken up by train sounds once, so no need to worry too much. Unless you're a very light sleeper. Towels are not replaced. The hairdryer's power was just right (even for someone with thick hair like me).

Extremely close to Shin-Imamiya Station (Nankai Line), just turn right out of the South Exit and you're there. It's a self-check-in system; you submit your details 72 hours beforehand, and on the day of check-in, you get your access code from the submission page at 4 PM. The room is clean, comes with a microwave and cooking utensils (like a noodle pot), so you can cook. There's also a washing machine for laundry, and you can hang clothes to dry on the balcony. Being so close to the train station, there's some noise when trains pass by (trains stop running around midnight until 5 AM).
