A very good place to have Japanese hot spring with a fair price. wash away all the entire toil during the transportation in your trip.

The delicious food and the dark brown alkaline hot spring were very good. When I said that I couldn't eat "namero" in Minamiboso, they made it for me. It was delicious. The specialty "wild boar hotpot" was low in fat, which was perfect for me since I don't like fatty meat.

I stayed here for two nights in mid-May after Golden Week. I thought I could get a 20,000 yen discount for two people if I used the Chiba Prefecture Tokutabi coupon. Basically, I felt that it was somewhere between a guesthouse and a ryokan. I saw many reviews saying that the hostess's customer service was great, but I felt that it was just business-based and she was only friendly, so I don't want to get too high expectations. The portions for dinner and breakfast were huge, and I think anyone who would compete in a competitive eating contest would praise it highly. However, the only disappointing thing about dinner was that all the menu items were served when you sat down, and although some of the food was heated with solid fuel, this put pressure on you and made the food cold if you ate at your own pace. It was obvious that the innkeeper was trying to do things at their own pace (the flow that was easiest for them to work in), and it wasn't about the customers. The inn's proud black hot spring bath was extremely small (the same size as a home bath) and it was cramped for three people. During peak season, there would be a line at the wash area. The food was very filling (perfect for big eaters), but that was the only selling point of this lonely inn. Also, be aware that the dinner venue is a tatami room (no sunken kotatsu). It was difficult for me, as I don't like sitting cross-legged (this is the inn where I think that's normal). It's OK for those who want to experience the Showa era, but I don't recommend it for others. I have no intention of returning.
