Hotel Dormy Inn Premium Otaru Reviews

You may like to stay here if you are a fan of bed bugs. I found two bugs in a 20 sq. m room and tried to report the staff speaking limited English. They blocked my family and directed us to the check in and out machines until I showed the bugs. They then realised it's a problem and started using a translation pocket device to communicate with me to address my concerns. A 30 sq. m room is arranged as an exchange (or a compensation?) for the stay. But I can't sleep well that night because of losing confidence in the cleanliness of the whole inn.

Everything spot on. Onsen, evening ramen, free ice-cream and yokult were a nice touch. Very friendly atmosphere and professional staff providing help when needed. Automatic multistorey parking on site for the peace of mind will set you back for 1400 yen. Unless you wanna drive around to find something 200 yen cheaper. Room perfect and the memory pillows gave a good night sleep. Mind you that some could find it a tad hard though. Otherwise no complaints

Hotel is located in the most convenient place, it is just in front of the otaru station. We can easily take the reserved bus to Kiroro snow world, walk to Otaru canal and walking street. The yogurt drink, ice cream and Ramen are provided for all customers. However, the room size is a bit small but it is fine if staying alone.

Hotel was right outside JR Otaru Station and 10 mins walk from Otaru canal. Very convenient! Daily breakfast was very worth it as well!

I really enjoyed stay here. I got out of the Otaru JR station and the hotel is, across the road. Room was clean and functionable. I was on 9th floor and my window view was a big bonus. There is onsen but i missed it due to lack of time. Hotel is close to canal and shops and i have to mention the Triangle Market., where i had one of my best meal - grilled halibut. Check out my window view. This is a good base to explore the famous shops and eat good seafood.

2 mins from the Otaru JR station. Walking distance to all places. There's hot spring bath on level 2. Breakfast buffet with fresh seafood is delicious and satisfying!

Onsen is very good, Late noodle is delicious, Breakfast is super impressive. Can’t wait to comeback to this hotel again.

Location is very good as it is right across from Otaru train station. Breakfast is very good and there is supper too. But the room is a little small.

Location: Just diagonally across the road from JR Otaru station and bus interchange. Attraction: Otaru Canal is within walking distance. Facilities: Love the complimentary noodle supper, ice-cream and yoghurt drink at the resting lounge just outside the onsen.

Super good location. 2mins walk from the station and 6mins walk to the kamel.

I booked a dbl room during winter trip and didn't want to haul my luggage in the freezing snow. Very convenient and literally acrosss the street from otaru station. Room is a bit old and small but I don't mind. Bathroom is clean. Towel is clean. Pillow is a bit small. Onsen was great. Lobby served fresh grounded coffee all day and night. 1 min walk to Lawson for late night cravings.
