It's about a 15-minute walk from Otsu Station, but the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the station. It can accommodate up to 3 to 4 large pieces of luggage. The room is mainly in soft light wood color, and the double bed is close to the large window. You can lie down in the morning and watch the view of the pier and Lake Biwa. But don't open the window for too long at night, as small insects may fly into the room. (The front desk staff will remind you of this) It is worthy of praise. The staff in all aspects of service are very polite and friendly. The front desk staff speak English very well and there is no problem in answering questions in English. There are 2 hot and 1 cold indoor large baths and 1 outdoor one (I think it can be used by up to 6 people). Free hot and cold tea is provided. Very clean, but no free combs, rubber bands, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. are provided, so be sure to bring your own. I didn't find that the drink vending machine has alcohol or milk, but general drinks and ice cream are available. There is also no convenience store connection, so you can purchase it in advance at the station.

There are no amenities, so you need to bring your own toothbrush etc. The desserts at the evening buffet were disappointing, on par with those at a business hotel. The only good thing was the room.

Good to stay for long time as well as it's atmosphere is good

3,000 yen for breakfast is too expensive. I think a room only is enough. The large public bath with a view of Lake Biwa is satisfying. I also like that there is a balcony.

The lake view from the room was amazing, I could look at it for hours. The hot spring was also beautiful, and the view from there was also great. It's the kind of place I want to stay again.

The hotel faces the lake, you can watch the sunrise, and the scenery is first-class. It has an indoor hot spring, and the grounds are clean and tidy. However, toothbrushes are not provided, so be careful. It is recommended to make a reservation for breakfast, because it is difficult to find shops nearby for breakfast before 8 o'clock.

The hotel has good service. I thought that I could visit Lake Biwa Canal and Omi Hachiman during the cherry blossom season. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms in Kansai were late this year, so when I arrived, there was only one solitary weeping cherry blossom in front of the hotel. The fun of this trip was gone in an instant 555~ Each room in the hotel faces Lake Biwa, and there is a cruise ship pier at the door. There will be fireworks at night, which can be seen in the room or hot spring. The hotel room is relatively large in Japan. It is spacious for three people to stay, and there is a balcony~ The hotel also has a shuttle bus to JR Otsu Station every 20 minutes. Otsu itself does not have many tourists, and many of them are local tourists. It is very clean. The hotel also rents bicycles to ride along the shore of Lake Biwa. It is very comfortable to soak in the hot spring at night when you are tired. Although the interior decoration of the room is old, it is kept very clean and tidy. I hope to continue the fate next time during the cherry blossom season
