Perfect place to stay out of the summer crowds of the beach towns if you have a car. Relax on the lounge chairs in front of your room with views of the valley and olive groves, or do a truffles hunting tour, or drive to Piran or pretty Izola or Trieste for thé day. The staff are extremely welcoming and kind. There is a large covered terrace with good wifi where we spent a rainy morning. The breakfast (not included but very reasonably priced) offers lots of choices and the restaurant is worth trying for its local specialties, including truffles.

Highly recommended stay, gold istra has been a highlight of our slovenian trip. Beautiful region, magnificent suite with view on mountains and olive trees. Very friendly staff and superb restaurant with truffles flavours. Big thanks to the team

Wij zijn verrast dat er nog geen (positieve) beoordelingen te vinden zijn op TripAdvisor Wij verbleven in de zogenaamde Truffel kamer. Heerlijk geslapen met een mooi uitzicht. Het gebouw is enigsinds wat gehorig maar dit is logisch. Het restaurant schijnt ontzettend goed te zijn, ik de avond zat het volledig vol met lokale bevolking. Wij hebben zelf aan de kust gegeten. Grote complimenten voor de bereidwilligheid en het heerlijke ontvangst met lokale producten.
